I hate the new graphics, I really can't stand them. It doesn't help that the 3DS screen isn't as bright as the DS lite screen was.

It should take a couple years off and let Paper Mario take the spotlight

It was way more fun and expressive in 2D as well, shit tier 3DS poly models with barely any animation at all just aren't cutting it. It looks cheaply made and comes off as lame and boring

It's still 2D. Outside of the Giant Battles/Papercraft Wars and and the overworld (just Bowser's Castle in SSS_BM) the games are still 2D

It's funny, I'm playing BiS right now, and it really doesn't need a remake. I mean, the flaws it have are not the kind that can be solved with a remake.

PiT on the other hand could be made much better with a remake if they put some effort, and they skipped it. It's a shame.

Paper Jam has blatant padding, but also fun combat. It's also very conservative originatlity-wise (Starlow is the only non-mainline game character and the environments are generic to reuse Sticker Star assets), but the cast is used more far effectively than they were in Sticker Star/Color Splash so also bare that in mind

Honestly, it's been as woefully mediocre as it's always been. The last few games have been meh and now they're resorting to remakes, so I guess maybe they're fatigued? But I really haven't noticed with this series.

These games are hardly remakes, all they do is update the models with minor changes in gameplay. No minor change will make PiT any less boring and shit than it is.
