What went right?
What went right?
Having 4 different sets of characters to play as
everyone because the left was blocked off.
JONATHAN
Pretty much everything. My only real complaint was the fact you just end up doing 4 remixed paintings.
There is no good sequel
The not dracula vampire you have to slain is a jew.
Death Drac tag team
Charlotte a cute
>One of the best Dracula fights in a while
>Nebula whip
>Yuzo Koshiro tracks
Can't think of anything else
SHOWTIME
pressing "up" as Charlotte for a few seconds
>"up"
What did he mean by this?
CHARLOTTE
↑
>"not bad, huh?"
It had a great amount of content overall. I wish the castle itself was a bit bigger.
Not like it was small.
CHARLOTTE!
I love being able to switch characters with different abilities in a game. One of my favorite features from Dawn of Sorrows was Julius mode and the masks from Majora's Mask.
the last battle was KINO
Perfect game for that
How many babies did JOHNATHAN! put in her
Not enough
>when it takes you three times longer to go through the great stairway because you have to stop at every persephone
Johnathan is the best hero
>Not a Belmont
>Masters every weapon ever
>Fights with a whip that actively hates him and still comes out on top
>Has to fight a boss Rush of powerful belmonts
>Beats them with a pie
>get Alucard’s Spear
>never use anything else
Was it really the best weapon or did I miss out on something better?
That game was shit and the art was ugly and obnoxious.
best castleroid
I actually kinda liked the remixed paintings, primarily because, for whatever reason, palette swapped areas freak me out.
>Hell Freezes Over from Jazz Jackrabbit
>The weirdass bonus dungeons from the Final Fantasy 1 remakes
>The latter 4 paintings
>The Final Level from Aria of Sorrow
>The Black Omen from Chrono Trigger
I have no idea what it is about weirdass lategame palette swapped dungeons. It's just extremely unsettling and I love it and does anybody else feel this way
anything with bigger numbers
>The virgin JUSTe
>The Chadathan
OoE is the best DS castlevania
All it had going for it was the artwork and the difficulty. Level design was fucking terrible.
It would be if half the levels weren't literally glorified hallways and corridors. It did have the better music though
This.
I want to marry Shanoa.
Yeah, for all the love OoE had, it was mostly the artstyle and how Shanoa is a cute to some people. That village was boring and so were most of the stages. The OST only had like one or two good tracks from what I remember.
The bosses were also really great.
Most of them were great except the fucking sand fish that was annoying to fight. Didn't know what to do
Why the hell does this game have a hard time working right on my golden 2018 r4 card. It keeps crashing 20 minutes into gameplay.
Why was this allowed?
What about her, guys? Will you buy her game?
If it's actually good then sure, but I haven't seen any major updates. Maybe when the second demo releases I'll think about it.
First one the best. Kojima's style fits Castlevania too perfectly. Last one looks technically great but lacks soul.
This unironically.
>God tier art style
>fun as fuck combat
>orgasmic OST
>fantastic boss fights
>creative abilities
>Shanoa
>Albus mode
>actually challenging for once
JONATHAN!
Here's how you fix Miriam.
Y-you're not excited for me user-kun
The game itself can't be bad. Iga only knows how to make 1 game and it's a good one, all that is left to judge is the music, character and level design, music, etc.
This is the only handheld Castlevania I haven't played. How does it compare to DoS and OoE?
this image is DISGUSTING
>implying its ever coming out
Harmony of Dissonance was bad and Dawn of Sorrow was kinda boring after the initial playthrough.
It's good. A bit lighter and sillier but still fun.
>Harmony of Dissonance was bad
I would absolutely cum all over his/her back
Pretty fun and has a variety of tools and an ok story for you to try out.
Wtf I love her now!
How does Sup Forums feel about Sergio's Castlevania Fighter? I downloaded it months ago but haven't had the time to try it. Is it any good or just gamemaker bullshit?
Name 6^9 (Tenmillionseventyseventhousandsixhundredninetysix) tracks better than An Empty Tomb
Protip: you can't
>Shanoa's designs was based on Iga's wife
>Konami owns Shanoa now
If every level entrance and exite were glued together and the different backgrounds swapped by boring castle walls you fuckers would be all over it.
What difference does it make that the level design had become modular?
Fuck, even if you enjoyed the same old castle there's one at the end and it's fucking massive. By far the largest area in the game.
I get it. But it's just not the same man. My autism needs to be satisfied, please understand.
Not even the best from its own game:

I can name 1
An Empty Tome
Fuck the castles. The stage layout itself was a load of shit.
Konami cucked Iga?
the intro
This is like some kind of fucked up real-virtual NTR shit.
It's a shame, because her design was so fucking perfect. I don't even care that it was nicked from that other game or that Mirian is also taking inspiration from it kinda.
Fair enough. That is an opinion I can respect. Specialy as CV has been such a thematic, long running series.
What do you mean?
JONATHAN
>red nails
HOW COULD YOU FUCK UP THIS BAD
SHANOA IS NO FUCKING WHORE TO WEAR WARM COLORS NAIL POLISH
I've never even noticed that.
Damn, if I had photoshop installed on my pc still it would be a quick fix.
There's that golden sword that deals similar damage but a much more generous arc
Will Julius ever get his game?
I would be no fun to just control him blasting everything easily and then btfoing Dracula so fucking hard he never resurrects again.
No. Even if it did, everyone have too much of an expectation to the point it'll just be a disappointment
N-Never noticed we can actually see a little bit of her butt
>Play DoS
>Love it
>Play PoR
>So much better that I can't enjoy DoS anymore
>Play OoE
>So much better that I can't enjoy PoR anymore
Anyone else
>tfw i paid the kickstarter
Why did i do this ?
every metroidvania except dos improved refined and polished enough over the previous entry where it should be considered, overall, a more superior game
however they also all have some flaw
I kinda agree, but i didn't like Ooe at all, and i feel like AoS is still one of the best ones.
>That shit DoS had where before a boss dies you have to draw some shit on the touch screen and if you fuck it up or don't do it fast enough they regenerate a bunch of health
The era of every DS game forcing touchscreen gimmicks
I hated that so fucking much
This.
richter mode was the best part of PoR, and it was the best part of any castlevania game until OoE's albus mode
provemewrongyoucan't
I fucking loved Albus Mode
youtube.com
there's something off but I can't point out what
>Hammer was almost a playable character twice
Slow asf
I'd prefer not to play as a minority honestly.
>it would be no fun to do this thing that sounds awesome as fuck
you have me convinced
Demo should be coming out soonish. Don't know the exact date, but it's been teased now
I played years ago in an emulater there is a gamesharkcode for autocompleting those seals.
*Blocks your path*
seems like the only thing that's noticeably slower is attacking. it kind of looks like jumping is slower but it's clear that alucard doesn't jump as high, which is why he touches back down sooner
the illusion of 2D just makes everything look faster.
I guess it's the animations then.
I'm still kinda hyped because i paid for this shit
