Skyblock was a mistake

I can't do the actual tech because I'm too much of a brainlet, but if I have someone to do the tech for me I can spend plenty of time doing tedious tasks and making the place look pretty for them.

I would totally be down if you had a way to host a server or something, I have shitty leafland internet so I can't really host reliably.

I'm the opposite, making contraptions and configurations is great but whoever decided I need to stand in front of one block holding left/right click for hours on end in order to do that needs to be shot

It's feed the beast factorio autism, expect you only start with 1 block of dirt and a tree and are expected to get everything else by slowly feeding blocks into a sieve over the course of several hours

I mean, it certainly ain't super fun, but I have a naturally high tolerance for that kind of shit that gets even higher when I actually have another person to do it for.

tech is literally just reading a wiki and crafting things in order to craft more things, it requires no brain at all

You break down the one tree and use the wood to build a platform and use the saplings to plat more trees
Then you build a tool from sticks which lets you get more saplings as well as apples and silkworms(which you can plant in leaves to make string)
Then you make barrels to collect rainwater and ferment saplings into more dirt, and use the string to make a sieve to filter dirt for stone and clay
Use the stone to make a stone barrel, and if you put a torch underneath and fill it with stone it slowly turns into lava
Then you use the lava and water to make a cobblestone generator for easier stone
Then you can make a hammer to break the stone into sand and gravel
Then you can put the sand and gravel into the sieve to get your basic metals and dusts
Eventually you can automate all of this and work on advanced technology and I think the modpack comes with a quest book for you to complete too

There's also project ozone which mostly the same expect endgame consists of fighting bosses in alternate dimensions while having godlike powers

I made it a bit past EE on Kappa.
My game started to lag and stutter like hell so I went through my entire base troubleshooting, couldn't find the problem, and I quit.
I should start it up again.

They merged with Curse a while back.

ive been playing gt new horizons, not a skyblock but its a great longterm modpack that forces you to use all kinds of tech and magic mods

can be a bit tedious at times but rlly well made questbook that guides you trough everything

You're playing the fanmade version if you're using that modpack
Essentially Gregtech 5 was only half made and missing a lot of features (mostly high level machines, tools and armour) before greg decided to ditch it for gregtech 6
One of the forum regulars decided to pick up gregtech 5 and add more stuff and fix bugs and greg gave it the okay

Played so much of it cus its super simple to exploit

In the bugworld you can get stuff for a thing that animates blocks
Animate a block of draconium
Put the mob into a pokeball
Replicate the pokeball in the spawner
Kill the copies for infinite draconium
