Did you even play the game?

Is that a trick question?

No, just wondering if you were actually as much of an inattentive adhd sperg as I imagined.

thick elf whore made for ogre cock

Then who is it if you're so smart, user?

prolly that elf woman in the elf town? can't remember her name

Raven? No.

who is the best party mem(e)ber and why is it virgin-virgil?
special mention: worthless mutt

who then?
don't even really remember other women in the game

My guess would be that it's supposed to be the player character. No relevant character in the game fits. Someone on the GOG forums claimed it was some random Sierra employee.

you might be right on that one, although i always got the impression that PC is supposed to be a guy. don't know why, i might be injecting myself into the whole story

has anyone ever tried every follower out? i recently checked online and discovered that the game actually has many followers, i knew about like 10 but there's 30 followers to choose from

Yeah, seems weird that you would be playing an old elf lady I guess. It could also be the Silver Lady, but she looks absolutely nothing like that in the game and is some kind of spirit. But she's a very important plot character. She's the only NPC in the game that you can't kill afaik. Seems like she would deserve the spot on the cover.

>there will never be an Arcanum Redux made from the ground up fixing all the shit they couldn't fix

Todd could do it.

BELIEVE IN TODD

Please no.

Do not start this curse.

SKYRIM WITH STEAM GUNS

>Works on: Windows (XP, Vista, 7, 8)
Installing 10 was such a mistake.

goddamit, I have to give arcanum a second chance someday

how come there are no mods that allow you to control your companions like every decent rpg?

FUCK YEAH

i do not condone rape so no.
you and me both, although i think it would be my third or fourth, depending on how you think about it.
should i go for melee/ranged? if ranged, guns or bows?

>go into an abandoned factory for a quest
>kill some draugr
Wow such a nice game

aren't there fixes for it available? simple Google search seems to have working solutions

If you go for guns you have to go balls deep in schematics and get some meat shields. Dog is cheating. Vollinger, Sebastian and Payne should all be capable of maining guns for max bullet storm.

Do not doubt the Todd.

He will Save Arcanum.

Oh and if you go for max lulz with guns make a tranquilizer gun or two. Anything living stops being much of an issue.

is Arcanum missing content, or could it be considered rushed/incomplete?
a lot of Troika games are like this, same with Obsidian games but I've never played it so I wouldn't know
all I know is the combat and balancing is poor which I don't really care about

i honestly think it's missing content and rushed, the game suddenly changes like halfway through or something. i can't put my finger on how or why but it gets really different
also there's like 2 legit cities, maybe 2 villages and the rest of the locations aren't really worth mentioning.

Please leave Arcanum alone. No sequels.

Fallout should have stopped at 1 too.

oh and to be fair, combat is not completely unbalanced/broken, it's just that some builds are broken as fuck, but all of them aren't.
also iirc some of them are balanced for turn-based, while others might be balanced for real-time. magic for example is seriously unbalanced/broken if you use realtime

Trying to make it turn and real time fucked them over.

Should have just stuck to turn and left it feel like Fallout with magic and tech.

Why?
It's not like a sequel retroactively ruins your enjoyment of Arcanum or Fallout no matter how shit it is.
If the sequel is shit then don't play it, problem solved.

>It's not like a sequel retroactively ruins your enjoyment
It actually does though.

How?
Unless it mechanically changes things in the previous game then it can only ruin your enjoyment of it if you let it.

no, please no, i would love to get arcanum 2, assuming the quality stays at least as high as the original

I feel it was some desperate Friday night quickfix to make certain archetypes playable. With the exception of the level 30 kangaroo rats, all cancer-tier enemies are extremely slow in real time and easy to solo with a ranged character.

there's enough content locked to both male and female characters that there's no reason to suspect that you're "supposed" to play a certain gender. I think females actually get a bit more unique opportunities to fuck their way out of the situation, although they're still locked out of half the races.

>assuming the quality stays at least as high as the original

A sequel completely changing the original and being extremely popular with the normies does ruin whatever chances there were for the original to get a proper sequel, though.

That's what happened with Fallout 2 and Morrowind.

>inb4 MUH DAGGERFALL

Daggerfall and Morrowind are fundamentally different experiences, Daggerfall used too much randomly generated shit.

I THINK that is supposed to be that Elf wise woman/spirit. The one that is the mother of all elves.

>does ruin whatever chances there were for the original to get a proper sequel, though
I agree with this but what I was disputing was that a shtty sequel can't ruin your enjoyment of the original game unless you let it.

She's blonde, though. And she's the only elf with a unique sprite, so I don't think this is an in-game character.

that or balance it for real time only and skip turnbased. either way, you are right, trying to do both was a mistake.
how?
are you one of those who think a game suddenly becomes bad when time passes on too?

you do know that i didn't say that i assume it would, i said i would want a sequel IF it was at least as good as the original.
