This guy is tough, but not that unbeatable. Don't know why this boss gets shilled so hard.
This guy is tough, but not that unbeatable. Don't know why this boss gets shilled so hard
Maybe because even though he's not that unbeatable he's still pretty tough
I first played the dlc on new game + and he was an absolute menace.
I dunno either. I maybe got lucky but i did him on the 3rd try, you can ciscreal him like a motherfucker and it hurts.
This guy took me like 30 tries. Am I a scrub because of this, or still a good player through my perseverance ?
Why do all the fast paced bosses in these games feel the same?
>not that unbeatable
The English language is continuing to be raped on a daily basis here I see.
>try to co-op at him for fun
>90% of the hosts die in the second phase
wew lads
I killed him on my fifth try using viscerals only.
Adding guns was a mistake.
it's one of those bosses you gotta fight carefully, unlike most
the only really bullshit thing is on phase 2 when he starts jumping and throwing a ton of blood grenades, if he does that 2~3x in a row then it's really fucking hard to survive
mostly just walk near him and learn his few moves while dodging, once you've learned them, bait attack, go in, get a couple hits, get out, repeat
because its bloodborne
Never finished Bloodborne, don't find it enjoyable compared to the other Souls games.
Went back to it recently having forgotten all of it, what's with the chalice dungeon Rom?
Were From just taking the piss with this? Minions in their dozens that one shot and when at low hp he just spams moves which all feel like bullshit.
It's quickly coming back to me why this is the only Souls game I haven't bothered to finish.
A good player of course. 30 tries isn't even THAT bad.
Do people honestly like this boss? I’ve beaten him 3 times and I never had fun during any of them.
It’s always the lightning
he wasn't hard he was fun, same with Ludwig
His jump move is pretty predictable. I dogged it all the time
I killed him at my 4th try
Ludwig would be fun if it wasn't for that dripping blood drop from the ceiling attack with 2 different timings, 1 timing would be bad enough, but they went out of their way to make sure it was shit
Nobody ive ever played with ever seems to understand that they need to fight this fucker out in the water (atleast during phase 2), not on the shore by Kos' corpse. Youll have a chance of dodging the lightning and you wont get stuck on a wall or rock or some shit.
once you get his attack patterns down he's so fun to fight. him ludwig and gascoigne felt like genuine duels.
For his last 1/5 of health, I just hid behind a pillar and used projectiles on him. I went through all of my molotovs and bone marrow ash.
>his
>him
Do you really think I care about the gender of some bizarre space spider?
Chalice Rom isn't even that bad
Chalice Ebrietas is a major cunt
It's because he isn't a typical pattern boss.
So many bosses in the souls games come down to memorizing 3-4 moves and punishing after a dodge or two.
Orphan isn't as predictable which makes him more fun than 90% of them.
Someone compared his fight to a fighting game scenario where the openings aren't as obvious as most bosses condition souls players to believe. He's a wakeup call.
Of course you can just cheese the shit out of him with the Beasthunter Saif since he'll rarely hit you.
But Ludwigs big delayed drop has one timing, you roll when you hear the blood drip and him screaming as he comes down on you
The one I hate is Maria. And her big charged blood(fire) attack I can never understand the timing on
It was the souls' boss I had the most trouble with of them all, and he was literally the last one I tried in the entire series.
Defiled Amygdala is awful.
Funny thing, the only time I managed to beat him was with a friend watching me playing it
He was assisting me telling me when to dodge, when to take a health potion, etc
it may seem stupid but really was a great help
Haven't gotten there yet.
Defiled Hot Dog keeps kicking my ass.
You don't have to be in the water to dodge the electricity reliably, just don't be near Kos.
>Kos
>different people like different things
wtf how is this possible
He's just there to test the player for the most important concept of Bloodborne: backdashing gets you killed.
Total brainlet, too.
>Kosm
You can easily beat both without getting hit once, all of their attacks are super broadcast, Ihyll HMPF is a bigger roadblock
Right. And the best way to reliably dodge the lightning is to not be near Kos, ie, out in the water.
do that on his second stage
I beat this boss the first try and I didn't think it was hard, I don't know wtf you guys are doing to think this is a hard boss git gud
>Orphan!
>I'm coming!
>Orphan One!
>I'm coming!
Ryder, you are the Pathfinder!
>Plants magic sword down
>Plants magic sword down
>Plants magic sword down
>Plants magic sword down
Has here ever been a more aesthetic set of armour?
I just ran straight at the sword and smacked as I ran past.
Good
Most people just suck at parrying or at getting charged R2s in the back off.
On my first playthrough currently using LHB, to what weapon should I upgrade next?. Gonna install the expansion after beating the game.
Orphan is the most fun boss fight in BB as long as your build isn't total shit. The ludo to Ludwig's kino.
It took me around 100. I wish I was kidding
>Ihyll HMPF is a bigger roadblock
He has some BS like the throw attack that goes through the pillars but he's generally not too bad as long as you don't get cornered.
>Gonna install the expansion after beating the game.
you'll have to do it on NG+ if you do that, the DLC unlocks pretty early and has to be completed before you fight the final boss
How many harder bosses are in the game?
Are you retarded? The english language has been raped on here from day one.
there is a very easy cheese for him
Beat him 3rd try I think although I was overleveled.
Hardest boss is that electric fucker
i just got the dlc. should i play it with my NG+ character or just make a new character?
just shoot it as soon as it can be locked onto
It's a lot harder in NG+ than the base game is in NG+
new character it is then
Same here. I played the souls games for hundreds of hours each before playing bloodborne and it still took me over 100 tries. I even started playing DMC4, my first DMC, shortly after I had started playing BB, and I beat DMD before I managed to kill orphan. I just really suck at BB for some reason.
i don't think you can accurately gauge difficulty in bloodborne because stats, levels, and gems are really weighty in the game that a few levels or getting lucky on a few gem drops in your playthrough can radically alters your margin of error
I know, thinking on rolling characters with different builds.
I prefer the brotherhood of the wolf one.
BB is the best souls game simply because 90% of the weapons aren't filler. No other game in the series has as varied, and equally viable weapons as BB. It's the winning formula, I have no clue why they went back to the classic "30 different swords, but only 3 of them are actually good" formula in 3.
it took me 12 hours to beat, i was 1 hit away after 3h and after that it didint happen again.
orphan feel more like artorias not like human or monster enemies.
1. strafe around the boss until they begin to attack
2. dodge into the boss
3. hit their back until you have to back away, bonus points for backstabs
Grats you just beat almost every single soulsborne boss outside of the gimmicky ones
