When the ad comes up click inspect element on the ad and delete code until the ad goes away. Or just get ad blocker

never a single ad for years
t. ublock origin

>twitch
faggot

use streamlink, it lets you watch streams in whatever video player you want and it doesn't load twitch's godawful built-in ads

1) download MPV (you can probably do this with VLC or MPC-HC using youtube-dl)
2) drag and drop the URL onto the player
As far as I know ads can't show up this way, plus you can pause the video and it will just cache.

why when ublock can block scripts?

>predefined blacklists of scripts and hosts
>all of them constantly out of date by nature
>have to go pixelhunting to block new elements
vs
>whitelist blocking
>whitelist the website domain and maybe a CDN and an API domain ONCE and you're done
>ad domains, google domains, tracking domains, and everything else blocked forever without user intervention

Go to gelbooru and tell me that again

Wake up grandpa, noscript has been replaced by umatrix.

...

ublocko works fine for me.

I think any of the channels I watch even bother with out of stream ads though.

still nothing

use hosts file

Have you tried Prime?
t. hasn't seen a twitch ad in over a year
