and fixes online...
But it already works better then it ever did with DSCM
>he thinks the """"""""""""""""remaster""""""""""""""""""" will fix the problem of lag stabs and vortex stabs that suck you in from half across Darkwood Forest
>he thinks it will make shit like Gravelording actually work
Wait, hold up, did Switch actually remove the online portion? Because that would be a day-one for me.
Ok? So don’t buy it you pleb. It’s clearly not for you.
Could be worse
I'll get it so that I can play co-op with my friends in the same physical space as them, without having lug my PC around to make it happen.
Are you just stupid enough to play offline on the regular versions or what?
I'm pretty far into the game for the first time, will adding DSfix now do anything to my save file?
BAKA GAIJIN YOU PAY NOW
Nope, dosn't effect your save at all, but will make draw distances, textures, framerate, FoD, all WAY better.
Just don't uncap the framerate, the game's physics is tied to it so if you setup DSfix to do 60 FPS it does fuck things up.
The only good thing about these "remasters" is that there will be no hackers or item dupers on PS4, X1 and Switch.
So I can play without worrying about a guy who has a Crystal Greatsword that can teleport me below New Londo Ruins.
Thanks. I assume it's the same case with DSCM? I heard that using these 2 mods for PC was great, but I completely forgot about it and pretty much beat the game without it
Is it really just that? Like will it be more stable than DSFix? Are they changing anything else or is it the same game it was half a decade ago?
What exactly changed?
You HAVE to play with DSCM if you want to really play online. But really I'm cool with it since it works better then the old online ever did. It even provides cool graphs for your connections, an overlay on the game if you want, and you can direct connect to other people via steam ID or IP address, makes it way easier to play co-op with friends. DSCM totally breathed new life in to the game for me.
There is also DS Watchdog that scans the incoming memory of people that are connecting to you to see if their characters are valid, helps prevent running in to hacked characters online.
uncompressed 2k assets, rumoured new engine(original was shit and didnt support 60fps natively, 6pvp sum other shit, nothing content wise
The game is getting remade in the DS3/Bloodborne engine, OP is meming.
>rumored new engine
which isn't gonna happen, watch the switch gameplay
Just play with 60fps. In the 400 hours played I had one glitch with ladders.
>6pvp
I'm out
You may not realize it but your jump distance is shorter on 60 FPS, you actually can't make a few tight jumps when playing with it.
Also mobs that jump at you have a longer jump distance then they normally would.
These don't break the game but it is a few examples of issues beyond ladders.
Then stop coming here every day and bitching about it, fallout
link? they are literally ALL fake for views
>*adds DSfix mod*
Keep kidding yourself. What little we've seen of the remaster looks way better than DSfix. If you're to poor to afford it that's fine.
>fallout
I'm kinda hyped for the remaster, but I do seriously worry about 6 player pvp. It was an utter clusterfuck in DS3. And the whole "fight club" thing that started was also fucking stupid.
Why are you so mad
Fight clubs have been a thing since DaS2 man
keep DSCM on whenever you want particularly easy connections all the time, or if you have trouble connecting otherwise
if you're just going through the game you might be best off NOT making online too easy, you'll basically get less invaders. use it when you want to invade, summon or get summoned instead
i saw it. Im not saying its visual overhaul, just ported to new engine, with hq assets which werent used in original release
then dont buy it
forest has always been a clusterfuck and that's been its idea when you're not dueling there, it's not gonna change much there
Switch gameplay wasn't actually from the remastered
>just ported to new engine
then what's the point? there's literally no gameplay difference
>dark souls """"""remastered""""""
Is this just a lazy port or is the Switch THAT weak?
source on that?
see
you ok user? having a stroke?
For 40$ they better fucking make the last half of the game less shit.
And remake it with the ds3 engine with hd texture, rebuilt environments, new izalith, fixed blightown, and crafting/building mechanics with 124 players multi.
Looks like it's just from the PC version. No actual Switch or other versions of the remaster gameplay has been shown yet.
The switch version is planned to run in 30FPS as opposed to 60 on other platforms though. There's likely going to be stuff changing under the hood.
I think people also speculated that 60fps in DS1 made weapon durability deplete faster as well as i-frames during rolls shorter, just as it did in DS2
So in other words, 60fps is the true hardcore way to play
This is the biggest lie and reach I've ever seen.
>crafting and building mechanics
>people really think it will have a new engine when it's gonna be running at 60 fps on console
you fuckers are delusional. it's a re-release
It's legit, I just forgot to talk about the lootbox mechanics and competitive soul's mode.
cheked
real talk, a battle royale game with dark souls gameplay and map design sounds kinda cool
being unable to detect sarcasm is a sign of autism
>Oh boy they're re-releasing DaS2! That means we're getting E3 lighting this time!
>Looks like it's just from the PC version.
Got any evidence for that? There's no way nintendo would show PC footage in their direct.
...
They literally edited Skyrim footage onto the Switch during its first reveal.
you mean they showed skyrim switch port early footage
Alright, why is this isn't a thing yet?
Not to be that guy. But that's actually an industry standard. Editing video onto displays.
Because displays tend to not be perfect on captured video. Not even with modern displays.
Well it got pretty funky when Bethesda later admitted the work on the port hasn't started yet.
fortnite children pls go
I don't even play fortnite, but dark souls gameplay would make the le instant death no respawn concept kinda interesting as well as the more convoluted maps dungeons could provide
Sure. That was pretty awkward. But the video editing itself is indeed standard.
>posting your own hour long video
pvp has always been the weak point of souls
they are mainly singleplayer, with the multiplayer being an afterthought for flavor
now please fuck off and never post again
Reminder that a mod recently came out that does more than the ""remastered"" will ever.
When he posted it, it was actually a live stream. Blatant and shameless self promotion.
>he doesn't use wulf connectivity mod
What's the name of this mod again? I remember watching a video on it but I can't find it in my recently watched.
Prepare to Die Again
Appreciate it, amigo.
It IS a new engine. Dark/demon souls engine was scrapped long time ago, too much cpu overhead and actions were tied to frame.
DSCfix did that too
Still buying it again.
