I'm really surprised how everyone on here loves bloodborne. It's an okay game but the worst of the Souls games. Framerate is fucking trash and the graphics are subpar. It's a lot easier and accessible than all of the souls games too. Plus there's no customization. it's not a bad game and I think the rally mechanic is cool, but it's the least fun souls game

I fought Aldritch, Dancer, Dragonslayer Armour, and Lorian in quick succession and it really showed how boring most boss fights are in DS3. They are all just very fast with long combos. Oh, and they all have that slight delay after the windup to try to trick the player with. 3 is definitely the worst in the series.

Also strike weapons let you 1-2 shot almost any non-boss in the game because 90% of the enemies are armoured and counter damage frames lasted forever.

Infinite lifegems rewarded garbage players with free healing that you can spam without any consequence since you could move and avoid attacks while simultaneously healing rendering estus near useless.

You're a fucking delusion contrarian if you believe DS2 wasn't anything but utter shit in terms of challenge. Builds in any Souls game is crap unless you highly specialize, DS2 just made magic(Hex) extremely overpowered for caster shitters. Splintered paths to garbage areas doesn't make it interesting I can count on 1 hand the amount of areas that were actually good. What RPG mechanics? And who gives a shit about PvP.

sup. my first playthrough of DS2 was blind and I was irritated by it until right after the ruin sentinels and I started using the greatsword. after that the game became laughably easy and the bosses were absolute garbage that took me no effort at all. especially the fucking covetous demon lmfao

The game is overburdened with references that don't serve to develop the story, give closure or which exist out of necessity.
They're just there so that the game give you a few sly winks, a few shoulder nudges and ask you to remember that there was a thing that you thought was good once.
They're also mostly shit.

Ringed City is the only tolerable one. Ashes of Ariandel is shit.
Bad bosses (even Friede is just mediocre), short as fuck and it fucks up at references. It's like a distillation of the main game.

It's passable as a game. Taken as the fifth game in a series of very similar games and the capstone to a series it is bad.

DaS3 does it significantly more.

DaS2 was shit but it wasn't as bad as this.
