>just got this game on the mail today
>My first full hour of play time was spent exploring every nook and cranny of the starting Guild
This fucking game is gonna take me like 300 hours to complete, isn't it? Especially since I'm planning on doing my best to 100% it.
This is how I die, my dudes. Just know that I loved you all.
Just got this game on the mail today
Enjoy the greatest JRPG of the past decade, my good friend.
BLOODY
Nah, that was 7th Dragon III VFD. XC2 is a boring slog.
This is one of those games you're not meant to 100%. It will unironically take you over a thousand hours.
I'm looking forward to the experience, my man.
Thank you.
I used to do shit like this, which eventually gets unreasonably bullshitty and sucks the fun out of the game.
Lately I've been playing RPGs like I'm actually the character, not stopping to invade people's homes or collect frogs for an NPC or whatever if there's some kind of urgency or emergency. Its a lot more fun now
Well, what's worth doing, then?
The one thing I am willing to do bo matter what is getting all the unique blades and such.
Guild is nothing. You will have a ton with worlds, sidequests, shit you can only explorer after getting certain skills from blades etc
How is this game? I have been on the fence about it for awhile, battle system looks like a pain and I know weapons are gacha system. Also the autistic bong voices.
>This fucking game is gonna take me like 300 hours to complete, isn't it? Especially since I'm planning on doing my best to 100% it.
Pray to god that you get Ursula early on.
Is that like a really good early game Blade or something?
>making a thread for a game you already know will take you hundreds of hours to complete
>a game you probably already know has a huge story focus
>on Sup Forums where people love to spoil shit just because they're assholes or otherwise too retarded to realize other people haven't finished the game
>for a game you literally just started
Why do people do this? Do they have brain damage? You should know that Sup Forums will 100% spoil the game for you if you even give them the slightest chance. Also there's not a single thing for you to talk about because you only just started.
>This fucking game is gonna take me like 300 hours to complete, isn't it?
Probably. I'm at 350 hours and I'm just about done 100%ing it (every sidequests, every Rare Blade to S-rank, every merc mission done, every named enemies beaten, NG+ cleared)
Maybe he doesnt care about the story, why are you so judgmental
I'm not coming back to Sup Forums until I'm at least done with the story after today.
I know full well how the people here can be.
No, her affinity quest is just tediously ginormously long to complete and she needs to be off of your main party to do it, so getting her late-game basically means you're never gonna use her, while getting her early could mean you'll get to use her for the end-game.
Ah, gotcha, I see.
Well, thanks for the good wishes, I'll have to pray too, then.
It's just a really stupid thing to do. What is he even going to talk about? Oh man, how about that sweets shop in the guild, I sure do love sweets. Oh! And there's a book store! Yum, books.
It's completely pointless and offers nothing for discussion. People who want to talk about a game before they even play it are showcasing that they don't really want to play the game that badly to begin with, they just want to be part of the frequent threads.
Why risk it? What even is the point?
Its the classic "first hour is boring trash so I need to go on Sup Forums and justify my purchase before going back and forcing myself to play"
I'll give him a week before he drops it
>WHY ARE YOU MAKING VIDEOGAME THREADS ARRGHHH STOP
Klaus is the architect :^)
The world tree is a space station :^)
>Play Xenoblade Chronicles
>Looks like a PS3 game with a VHS filter over it
>Play Xenoblade Chronicles 2
>Looks like a PS4 game with a VHS filter over it
Why do Monolithsoft want to overheat and kill my consoles so badly?
Don't give a fuck :^)
Tips such as not opening core crystals on Rex, and cancelling auto attacks to build arts quicker were handy for me to know early on, and weren't explained by the game.
Auto attack cancelling IS explained by the game and of course they don't tell you the Rex thing because that would be a huge spoiler
You would think. I did most sidequests I could and I only have 60 hours in.
