Same deal with the first Original Sin and Dragon Commander. Maybe that's their strategy. Frontload all the good shit in because they know 90% of people never go past that point anyways.

Same. Larian always gets the first act right. Then the rest turns railroady. They really tried with DivOS2, but you can tell they began to grow fatigued.

I think the quality declines pretty rapidly after Driftwood.
Loads of good stuff there. Really good map with some interesting diversity in the areas, loads of good quests.
Then the nameless isle is okay. Arx is boring as fuck.
I got a solid 100 hours out of the game and considering I can't get through 15 minutes of most games these days before quitting forever I'd say it's done its job.
