to be honest, I don't think Sakurai would like to use Snake at this point after all those issues betwen Konami and Kojima, mostly due to respect to his franchise.

I really like what they did on her in PxZ, the guys at Monolith really understood how to handle her character, mostly because of her interest in fashion and clothing to the point the way she changes jobs in her moveset.
It could be a very interesting playstyle to add in smash, mostly how it could affect her movesets with bonuses or which weapons she could use at hand.

Sakurai actually considered him for sm4sh but had ot put priorities on pac-man first, that is why he only made it as a mii costume in the end, but if a second capcom rep like Ryu happened then it opens even more possibilites for him.

He never said that he's never happening, just that it would be very difficult to integrate in smash, still could work with some tweaks, and considering how wacky Tekken can be sometimes, it could have some of the weapons and items featured in the games.

He doesn't detest the idea for those reasons though, he just didn't know if smash players really wanted a tekken character and pulled back a bit but still keep open to the idea, he would likely change his mind over after how Ryu and even fucking Cloud happened and made a lot of hype.
