daily reminder that isaac, earth and everyone else in the dead space universe is dead.
>tfw no proper Dead Space 3 ever.
The abomination that's called Dead Space 3 is not Dead Space.
Pretending so makes it hurt slightly less.
Dead Space remastered trilogy when? Dead Space 4, with Awakened retconned, when?
Ellie with pigtails > Ellie without pigtails
they had it coming
It's all DEAD SPACE
>even /mlp/ considers this a dead meme
who?
This, reminds me of Videl.
Dead Space had the most interesting cross promotional advertising with webseries, books, movies, and games.
this is ridiculous
>shooting the chest
hurrrrrr
Still looks great actually
Best gun very satisfying to shoot
SHIT.. *STOMP *STOMP *STOMP MOTHER... FUCKER *STOMP.
What military application could that possibly have?
Why does this section of Dead Space 2 exist?
It's literally the only place in the entire game where the enemy spawn patterns are completely (and I mean completely) randomized.
Every other area maybe has 2-3 spawn pattern variations at most, but this one is completely random. It makes no-damaging this section completely luck-based, and is a nightmare on a new game file when you don't have the Force Gun.
maybe they'll reboot the series?
It's hard, intense, and fun, imo.
Every area of the game should have randomized spawn patterns you scrub.
as good as its going to get.
remove EA and there might be a chance of it coming back
In downfall the necromorphs can't come near the marker but can do it in the game..why?
That was when the IP was new and fresh. Lore was all over.
The game has tons of hard, intense and fun sections that were hard, intense and fun without relying on pure RNG spawn patterns.
Maybe rogue-lite titles would be more your alley.
What's wrong with randomized spawns? Dead Space already had vents for surprises on every playthrough due to the AI but seeing more would be cool. Mostly for longer fights because random spawns could make for too easy segments.
Conversely, RE4 is keen speedrun material because you know where everyone stops and drops.
Both are good.
I don't know...Might have something to do with the possibility of there being good and bad markers?
It's been a while.
Its a cool idea but he just used 125 bullets on three necromorphs. I'd probably reload my fucking save at that point.
another complaint is the loose ends in one of the graphic novels scavenged or something where at the end the main character escapes using the oracle's ship and is never heard of again and the end of the Dead Space 2 dlc chapter where Lexine escapes and is never again seen in the series again and the story building up to the end was confusing like why didn't Earthgov just abducted Lexine sooner instead of waiting until she got impregnated. I get they wanted to see if her immunity is genetical but with all the cutting edge tech they possess you think they could have inseminated her
I remember struggling on this part a few times on Zealot or whatever the hardest difficulty was a few years ago.
Would probably be fine doing it now
You gotta seriously be lenient if you wanna enjoy the most of it. I appreciate how balls to the wall they went, though. Especially with 3's collector box. I just wish EA wasn't EA. I'd be all for it becoming some massive, nightmarish mess of loose stories and something resembling a solid storyline with Isaac going from normal, to nuts, to psycho, to full on creating an anti-marker cult, to becoming an eventual big bad because humanity gets crushed under his stomping boots.
Because it adds an unnecessary element of luck to the outcome of an encounter.
The reason why that solar array elevator is the hardest section to No Damage is because of how it's pure randomness. In every other section of the game, your ability to No Damage is highly reliant on your knowledge of enemy spawn patterns. Because other areas typically rely on no more than 2-3 different spawn variations, you can over time memorize each different spawn pattern so that you can go through each area without taking a single hit of damage from enemies.
The solar array elevator is the opposite. You can't rely on spawn pattern knowledge because there is no spawn pattern at all. It's completely random which of the elevator windows the tentacles will come out of. Every now and then, even the best players will get caught off-guard and be nicked by a tentacle because of a bad spawn.
Will such a hit kill you? Of course not. Not even on Zealot difficulty. But that's not the issue. The issue is that you got hit NOT because you failed to learn enemy spawn patterns, BUT because you got bad luck.
>Dead Space ended with all of humanity dying and there was nothing your could do about it
>Visceral is dead
>all this text over a section that lasts maybe 2 minutes
It's really not that hard, stasis and shoot them.
So what's the over/under on Bioware being shitcanned?
Movie was pretty okay
ANOTHER ONE BITES THE DUST
>tfw Dead Space 3 was ass
>tfw no Dead Space prequel
>tfw no Visceral Star Wars game
>tfw no Respawn Star Wars game
>tfw no 1313
>tfw no Imperial Commando
>tfw no Battlefront 3
Truly the worst timeline
>Respawn are next
I can see your reasoning for it but I don't mind it. Just like how whule I don't like universal ammo in 3, a fair few people probably consider it a godsend because they didn't like the random drops... even though I've never been honestly short on ammo unless I stockpile too much and run out.
When you are positively sure you want to wipe your squad and need to do it really fast.
Fuck, did Titanfall sell like shit or something?
*STOMP* GOD *STOMP* DAMN *STOMP* FUCKER *STOMP* *STOMP* DIE! *STOMP*
I'm not saying EA doesn't hang over developers like a raincloud but in recent years Bethesda/Zenimax is just as bad yet they don't get a cute infographic.
I wonder why.
Titanfall 2 did decent enough. Probably comes down to how 3 sells
I wish they did more
>wasting all that ammo just to look cool
what an idiot
>poke gun up from a trench
>instant covering fire
Seems somewhat plausible in a "classic" war scenario.
in the event of a Scenario Five
Yes? IIRC, Titanfall2 released between 2 big shooters without nearly any marketing and obviously flopped.
It was pretty sad seeing anons talking how the game was great and yet the servers were dead 2 weeks in.
what if they planet cracked the moons
EA didn't own Titanfall 2 at the time, but they do now. Titanfall 2 didn't sell great because EA thought it'd be a good idea to sandwich it between BF1 and CoD:IW. Sales only picked up because of word of mouth, but journalists and Youtubers were spreading shit about how the game would be dead in a handful of months like wildfire, which hurt it a lot.
It's been a rough ride for us pilots.
>Titanfall 3 will probably have lootbox shit
Are you sure about that?
the solar array elevator is fucking bullshit
t. foam hand owner
>2 weeks
It was still alive and kicking months after, stop this meme.
For a game that EA sabotaged, it did ok.
Are you referring to how ugly that one is? If so kind of yes.
Far too risky when you could just pop your gun out and spray fully forward and not in a predictable pattern. Less ammo and friendly fire incidents.
I can imagine that the drill ride in chapter 12 was also hellish for a Hard Core difficulty veteran like you.
I think they did that shit on purpose for either or both reasons: 1. to make a point that free DLC never sells and/or 2. intentionally make TF2 get caught between two juggernaut FPS' (EA isn't THAT stupid to sell two franchises within a week of one another) so they can consume them into their division (which they did).
Honestly, I think the delivery of that line would've been funnier if it was reversed.
>FUCK YOUR MARKER, AND FUCK YOU.
>Wanting a reboot of a Dead franchise by a dead studio, in the era where microtransactions are mandatory in every game for AAA devs now.
Just let it rest in peace.
Just get it on PC.
Haven't tried DS3, but you can get DS1 and DS2 to run at 1080p/60fps on high on toasters. It will still look better than any hypothetical console """"""""""remaster""""""".
I think DS1 and DS2 cost like 20 bucks combined on PC.
isaac was such a good character in DS2
why did they had to ruim him in DS3?
why EA WHYYYY?
for profit and a pitiful attempt at that
youtube.com
>only slasher with hair
>blonde
>female
>probably the only female slasher in the entire game
>found on the medical bay
you just killed nicole
The asteroid shooting section of DS1 was harder.
It ended with Earth being attacked by big moon things. It's obvious where the next one would go after that. The technology to destroy planets already exists in Dead Space. You spent the first game in it.
Westwood hurts so much
>ARRUUAAAA!!!
>The technology to destroy planets already exists in Dead Space
never played dead space
explain pls
Fuck. I can't even argue against this user. Why didn't we stop this before it was too late?
I already own it on PC, and you're also correct. This "Remastered" gen blows. I just want more Dead Space, I really like the lore desu.
That little stasis thing on Clarke's arm that can throw body parts around has a big brother version the size of a fucking house. Slap four or six of them on a space ship and you can rip out a chunk of a planet in process called planet cracking. The planet shard is then pulled up to the ship to harvest resources.
>you can rip out a chunk of a planet in process called planet cracking. The planet shard is then pulled up to the ship to harvest resources.
that's unrealistic as fuck holy sheet
So are space zombies brought alive by hungry moons, who the fuck cares?
