Xbox 360

Looking back would you say it had a very strong library? Sure the amount of worthwhile exclusives isn't huge, but for the multiplats that didn't have a PC port (and multiplats where the PC port was pretty terrible in comparison) the 360 version was usually the best way to go. I've been thinking about hooking mine back up to the TV because the Best Buy here had those Burger King games on clearance and I almost snatched them up out of curiosity.

No.
Xboxes in general have never ever had games worth jack shit. I have no idea what attracted dudebro normies to that platform.

Seriously this, just fuck off back to Facebook already, /v is a non-xbox sub

I loved my 360. Had a good amount of exclusives (at the time, at least. Now everything is ported). Multiplats ran better than their PS3 counterpart and having a modded 360 was tight as fuck. Jtag RGH is amazing.

I switched mine in for a PS3 and was honestly disappointed. Might be because of all the multiplats I already played but I have a hard time finding games I want to play besides the Yakuza series and it's spinoffs.

jesus fuck, so MS kids do have the shittiest taste and a tunnel vision

>He doesn't know
underaged

lemme guess... "PS3 has nogaems" may may?
Not only was it a null point even at the release, thanks to the literal full BW-compatibility with PS2 and 1 games (latter which still applies to all PS3 models), but in the end the PS3 dominated not only with quantity, but also quality of its game library.

Enlighten me. Keep in mind I'm going into it at this specific point of time so that means I won't play anything that has been remastered or ported to PC.

So far I beat:
>Yakuza 1,2,3 and Kenzan
>Dragon's Crown
>The Last of Us
>Demon's Souls
>Replayed Nier

Backwards Compatibility means jack shit when talking about libraries though. Otherwise the Vita wouldn't be considered a shitmess.

You're trying way too hard and it's clear that you only want to shitpost because you don't like the thread subject.

>no entire Metal Gear Solid saga
jesus christ sonny, what are you doing?
Grab the Legacy Collection, stat!

>Backwards Compatibility means jack shit when talking about libraries though.
Such delusion...
That shit was one of THE biggest selling points of PS2: it was a true upgrade from PS1, without being a "separated" system of its own. PS3 continued the trend initially, but then the manufacturing costs got prioritized over players' desires.

>Otherwise the Vita wouldn't be considered a shitmess.
Who considers it a mess exactly?

Nope. I'm being 100% serious and unironic here. I also unironically ask you to kys.

I got this pic saved a while back.
At least check out Persona 5 and Metal Gear Solid games.

Go back and stay there.

>Zestria in upcoming
Man this is real fucking outdated if the game is even in a list of games Sup Forums would actually recommend given how much of a piece of shit it turned out to be.

Had a strong start, but a shitty finish.

Looking to buy one for the earlier titles, which 360 should I go for?

>Metal Gear Solid saga
Alright, I'll grab that. Been meaning to play MGS for a while now.

>That shit was one of THE biggest selling points of PS2
Who cares? We're talking about the library in hindsight and thus backwards compatibility doesn't play a role here.

>Who considers it a mess exactly?
user please, lots of people do. Besides some okay weeb games the library is weak as fuck and that's coming from someone who thinks the PSP has one of the strongest library of games.

Persona 5 is also available on modern gen consoles so if I'll play it it would be that version.

Get a slim and RGH Jtag it.

The first redesign or the Xbone lookalike?

Yes it was solid, despite having some troubles with variety of genres; too many shooters. MS and PS3 being the failure of the millenium.

Sadly MS is the most hated company and ruins any decent 360 thread.

You could score a hacked 360 off ebay, doesn't matter what model the hacked ones are always reliable to use but S models are considered the best model. Given the price I kinda want to recommend just getting an Xbone S, that shit's $200 and the backwards compatibility it has with 360 games covers nearly everything worth playing on it with some being enhanced.

>Who cares?
The 100s of millions of people who've bought a Playstation system, before 4 came out and turned up the jew to 11?

>user please, lots of people do.
Such as?
Now, I'm not exactly a portable console-fag myself, but Vita is clearly one of the superior choices if you want to have one. Not only does it still get games, some being fucking ports of PS4 games (ie. WoFF), it also runs PSP games, has huge PS Classics library on PSN Store, and is piss easy to jailbreak and then be filled with emulators, programs, etc.

>Persona 5 is also available on modern gen consoles
Console. It's just PS3 and 4.

Doesn't really matter, all of them are hackable.

Only difference between the two slim models is that the newer one that looks like an Xbone and:
> It has one fewer USB port and no S/PDIF, YPbPr component or S-video connections

Again, I'm not arguing about what games are playable on it, I'm arguing about exclusive library. If you had any reading comprehension you'd understand I already said the strong point of the Vita would be backwards compatibility.

And don't you bring up ports in it's favor because most of it's ports run like shit or optimized down so much it might as well be a different game.

>Xbone S
Eh, if I'm gonna go after an Xbone, I'd rather go after the X, and even then, I'd only go after it for whatever exclusives it has.
First redesign it is.

>is piss easy to jailbreak and then be filled with emulators, programs, etc.
If you're on the right firmware for now. The current hack only applies to 3.60.

Sadly for you not everyone likes moviegames or weebshit; the main appeal for Sony consoles. 360 won since retards care too much about multiplats.

>Backwards Compatibility means jack shit when talking about libraries though.

Sonybros get triggered easily with Xbox apparently.

The BC they stripped out to make the piece of shit more affordable because no one was buying it?
Non-argument.

I've never seen so much padding and shit taste before, and that's for both platforms.

Where exactly would I go to pirate the games once I get a 360? I ain't exactly sure what good sites even have 360 isos in this day and age.

>sub

Alright we see you Reddit fag. Come out with you hands up.

Kinda hard to have a 360 thread period since even during the early Sup Forums days they'd get spammed to shit because console war faggotry was way out of hand. Only times it was civil that I remember off the top of my head were when we still had Halo threads, because then there'd only be actual 360 owners in them and not have faggots like coming in to shit everything up.

xcawks gay shitty lol

>Had a strong start
No it didn't. It started off with games most people could play on their ps2 or original Xbox except they cost $10 more. For a benefit most people didn't care about because it was 2005 and most people didn't have HDTVs. If I remember correctly, there was a minor controversy because it didn't launch with composite cables.

ps1 I believe was fully emulated on ps2, and ps3
while on ps3 you had a full ps2 also in the console to get 100% compatibility,
from there you got per game backwards compatibility.

If you dump old hardware, it's nice to have bc, in the long run its nice to have it because newer hardware and consoles can break, but really, long term emulation on pc is a better option for every system made after response time became an issue in displays. even then most games are fully playable.

I preffered the 360 over the ps3 because of how much local multiplayer game it had

was considering getting an xbone for the same thing but it doesn't have jackshit, even the very few new games they released like halo5 doesn't even support local multi anymore. I guess I've dodged a bullet

I almost only use my Xbone for BC, I think the last 3 games I played were 360 games BF3, Bayonetta & SFIV.

Tried getting into Lost Odyssey and I didn't really liked it. Crack Down was fun for a while. I'm actually amazed how many people are still playing their 360's, 50k people on Blacks Ops, that game should've been dead by now.
