I was a manager at K-Mart before they imploded, which was around the time the Wii U launched. We legitimately advertised it as an add on to the Wii both in store and in the paper no matter how many times I pushed back and fought on that.

The only video games I see here are just, really basic stuff like billboards or on the sides of buses. And even then, the only games I recall seeing advertised are Doom, Overwatch, and Destiny 2.

These sorts of ads are designed to get you to share the ad for word of mouth while the consumer in actual need of such a thing will let go of the terrible advertising when it comes time to buy the product.
For example, a furniture company does the same tacky thing locally with terrible commercials -and people bitch about them- but in the end in the price range they do the best and make money hand over fist.
In this case, the base style for the Switch as a stand is pretty good, even if the picture is fucking retarded. The only reason we're talking about this specific seller is that they made a dumbass picture you felt like sharing.
