The original story was that Doomguy was ordered to kill innocent people and instead punched out his commanding officer. To keep shit quiet he was stationed on mars, far away from the public eye.

Titanfall 2 is my favourite shooter of last year. Good story and non repetitive gameplay.

Story isn’t the most important to the genre but it is a nice bonus.

Besides, I would never give greatest game of all time to a shooter.

Probably something story heavy with fun, non-repetitive gameplay maybe with some shooter elements.

The gameplay is fine. It's fast, the mobility options are fun, you don't need to use ADS, and the maps are good. It wasn't groundbreaking by any means but it's better than the rest of the competition.
