One of my best friends in college really digs Super Smash Bros Melee, and Nintendo games in general.
Another one is into LoL, but plays OW and used to play FFXIV with me.
And the other one plays whatever we get PC. We just beat Trine 2 and played a bit of Barony and Borderlands 2

girls pretty much universally like the sims. i have a theory that generally they like games with management systems of some sort. So a girl that likes games and food will play cooking mama and overcooked, while girls that like animals will play farmville/animal crossing, girls that like history will play civ/total war, girls that like sci fi and fantasy will go for something like mass effect.
