Help me, Sup Forums
I just unironically got some major lust to play Skyrim
Has all the todd posting gotten to me? Is it secretly some of the best advertising out there?
Are there any good mods that fix the combat?

>fix the combat
Only use magic mods and done. You will never care about combat again.
Yep.
Even the installation guide includes combat and bug fix mods
I played Skyrim once originally when released (bought on release day in fact).
Played and completed it and enjoyed it but never returned again.
Skyrim VR came out, it's not without its flaws but it's the best way to play it. Feel incredibly immersed, the scale of the locations hits you, normal locations you've walked through 1000x all of sudden seem so incredibly impressive.
If you can ignore the meme of "Skyrim is bad", simply because it's mainstream, and you can afford a PS4 pro and VR, id highly recommend it.
There is anything that makes the SE better than original?
> never care about combat again
What a way to destroy the game.
This is the problem with modding.....
Why? The games has magic.
You can play using only magic without touching a sword or bow.
There's a lot of magic mods + perk overhaul that make the magic tree even better than Morrowind.
Honestly I just keep Skyrim installed whenever I feel like doing aimless wandering and adventuring before inevitably getting kidnapped and raped.
it was the waifus
shit
downloading
Same thing happened to me, except I was listening to Oblivion music and wanted to replay that
>start Oblivion
>remember god-awful levelling system
Oh
Whenever you get the urge to replay just remember the godawful mage and thief guild questlines. That ought to fix you.
But then what's the point in all and any of the swords, daggers, bows, axes, hammers etc.?
Also if you OP the magic then it kind of renders armour pointless too because you'll always be able to wreck from distance.
Reaching the high echelons of magic in Skyrim are difficulty to achieve but great when you get there. Just starting the game with boosted magic just ruins the journey and the sense of reward.
my man
>doing quests
People actually play the main game?
My Skyrim is full of mods and I didn't even care about quests. I enjoy exploring the map and killing enemies.
Mage guild, thief guild, AND the Dark Brotherhood all used the "traitor" storyline
jesus christ, how redundant
>sense of reward
KEK.
I start every playthrough with 99999 of magic and all the spell tomes that I can get with mods.
>mage guild
>traitor
What? Who? The obvious evil jew elf?
yeah the altmer who tried to steal the macguffin
That's hardly what I'd call a 'traitor', everyone pretty much tells you "That cunt is up to something I don't trust him at all". He's not even a member of the college.
