I heard Microsoft has Playground Games working on a fable reboot. I feel like it'll lose some of it's charm without Lionhead at the helm but I'm holding out some hope for the IP. I'd like to see Microsoft revitalize the Fable franchise instead of letting it sit on a shelf like they've done with how many of their properties.

They'd have to make it a prequel or something. Romanticized medieval shit like Heroes Guilds and wizards doesn't work in a post-industrial setting. I know we're oversaturated with fantasy but I don't think Fable could work in any other way and there's decent lore a goods writer could do some good stuff with..
