Kirby, since he's been known to swallow things dozens of times his size. Even if he wouldn't get any abilities from Doomguy he's still practically indestructible and is described in multiple games as being a vessel for infinite power.
The eight inches thing is technically canon, but there's a ton of contradictions there. Kirby is only described as eight inches tall in old Japanese promo websites and Melee, and both of those have outdated character designs, plus humans the size of Kirby have been seen in Dream Land 3 and 64.

Kirby can take damage from touching a Waddle Dee. He's just evasive as fuck and incredibly versatile. If we're allowed to count "extra Kirbies" as part of his total endurance, however, he would definitely be able to withstand a good amount of damage. If Doomguy gets all his weapons, Kirby will too, and that means shit like various warp stars, magical rods, broken abilities like Hammer and Archer and Crash, Hypernova, Robobot armor, Animal Buddies, and the ability to turn one of his abilities into a Helper out of thin air.

The question I want answered is if Kirby does win, could he throw a heart at Doomguy and make him his friend?

Kirby has fucked up planet-buster-level threats and planet-SIZED threats. Shit, if Megaton Punch can be counted Kirby is just about Planet Buster-tier with zero abilities or weapons.

theoretically, if kirby could suck in and shoot back bullets that are hitscan (from pistol/chaingun/shotgun) then he could hit doomguy. I would call bullshit on kirby being able to do that though.

Waddle Dees walk into Kirby with the force of 1X10^957 Tsar Bombas and it only shaves off a slither of health.

Doom 2016 made it so that every WAD and cheat played on Doom is canon. Doomguy wins because hacks are part of the lore and could be exploited infinitely.

Real talk? I don't think Kirby could realistically win, the range on his succ is way too limited, Slayer on the other hand is very fast, his best moves are ranged and like, two of them are nigh-unavoidable.
