So why are Xbone games on the left of the case
So why are Xbone games on the left of the case
Because xbros just show shit to their friends for cheevos. Turn the game around like you're opening it to show off to someone else. Now the game is on the right side, easier to take out for further gloating.
Most people are right handed.
>those stupid cuts in the plastic case that they claim is to reduce pollution
Every time
You don't have enough power in your left hand to open a fucking game case?
i don't know what you're implying
I don't know but...I actually kind of like it
Cause they should be left in the trash
Why couldn't they just reduce the length of the cases?
Because buying xbone games just isn't right
that's bizarre
Because whoever was in charge of this shit at Microsoft decided to be a special snowflake.
Or maybe it was some fucking random Jap that wandered into the office that day.
It feels more natural taking the disc from the opposite side to your dominant hand rather than turning your hand to press the release button that's underneath it.
Everyone else gets it wrong, not Microsoft.
No it doesn't you fucking retarded weeb
They could but normies actually care about the size of the case, bigger implies better, and improves visibility which impacts sales. Just look at the Switch - height wise the cases are almost exactly the same as Xbone ones are, just that Switch ones are about an inch narrower. Not sure how PS4 cases compare though as I don't have that system or games. Most video game cases are roughly the size of DVD and Blu-ray cases.
Ideally all systems should have cases just big enough to fit the disc, like traditional music CD cases. Original PlayStation games got it right the first time, but could always reduce the amount of plastic used even more.
Isn't it because cases like this are similar size to books and looks better on shelves?
To differentiate from the competition.
Why is Nintendo red? Sony blue? Xbox green? Same shit.
PS3 game cases were the best
Because once you buy them you turn left and leave the store lmao
>not 360
kek what
ts ironically so that the first thing you see when you open an xbone game case is the pack in advertisement since most people look at the right side first
but people read from left to right
10\10
itt: proof you idiots argue about anything
Underrated
Same reason why iShit has been avoiding using micro usbs.
To adhere to snowflakes
What they don't realize is that they're just trying to be unique - like everyone else .
>mfw he's right
most gamers skip the left side because they know its shit they do not care about thats why they did it
>tfw to smart to be unique like everyone else so i conform to everyone else unlike everyone else
Quit samefagging, it's embarassing.
Especially when you clearly had to wait a few seconds from flooding and ignored what pointed out
because it's right
Sup Forums x says that samefag is a new IP
>most gamers skip the left side
Yeah that's why when i open up an xbox game, I *HAVE* to read the manuals first because it's in front of me.
I literally do not posses the will power to completely avoid my gaze and physically life the manuals and ads to read them thoroughly because they were on the right side.
Because this is how advertising and decisions work.
As long as the disc is protected, it doesn't matter which side it's on.
You didn't think this through uh. When you open it your eyes/face are facing the right side as you looked at the cover before opening. It's obviously the first side you look at.
fpbp
Maybe, maybe.
But he still ignored this If anything i'd still argue this guy had fucking worth bringing to this discussion by saying "lol hes right"
>You didn't think this through uh.
Do you put your game on a table just to open in like some retarded autistic kid?
You're the autistic one here buddy. Also it's funny how you tried to call that guy a samefag when you're obviously the one that first said "hurr but people read from left to right" and deseperatly tried to pretend someone supports your retarded opinion.
I didn't bother reading through the swamp of trash posts but it's because the manuals end up being heavier. You know when you open up a box and the left side ends up weighing down? They "fixed" this and now it correctly weights down on the right side. Which is funny because they pretty much ditched manuals this generation. They fixed a problem that was no longer there.
isnt this a non issue if you put your games in a bookcase like what 99.9% of people do?
>when you're obviously the one that first said "hurr but people read from left to right"
user you're the autistic one, Im not that user.
But thanks for turning this into a cluster fuck of identities
>. They fixed a problem that was no longer there.
Much like Stephen Hawking's latest patch
I thought it was just to reduce the amount of plastic used? It would accomplish that especially over thousands of copies.
>Original PlayStation games got it right the first time, but could always reduce the amount of plastic used even more.
Yeah definitely agree. There is no reason for CD/DVD cases to be larger than a music CD other than games that use multiple discs which are non-existant on modern consoles. The shitty flimsy cases and pathetic jokes of an instruction manual are the main reason I no longer care about physical copies. That and discs basically just being a glorified product key with the massive amount of patches these days.
>Original PlayStation games got it right the first time
please, those shitty long boxes can go fuck themselves
The only answer is GAMES FIRST BABY. XBOX WINS. HALO 6 4K AT 120FPS THANK YOU PHIL
This. And the fact there was 3 different styles of long boxes is anoying as shit.
Left handed cases are fucking awful, kys
actually it kinda does. i own both consoles, and i like boner cases more
Because the Xbox in an American console and America has to do the opposite of what the other countries are doing. Japan reads from right to left, we read from left to right. Everyone drives on the left side of the road, we drive on the right side of the road. Everyone runs and kicks a football, we run and hold a football
Late PS3>PS4>Wii U>360>Switch>Wii>XOne>Early Spiderman PS3
I'm right handed, and it doesn't. It feels weird, every time.
Rightfags as usual throwing shitfits if something isn't perfectly catered for right hands. I've seen righties try to use left handed scissors, might as well have given them a Rubik's cube. Meanwhile the lefty master race are all basically ambidextrous from being forced to live in your right handed babbyzone.
