>tfw bought an Xbox One for Scalebound
>haven't touched the console in years
Tfw bought an Xbox One for Scalebound
I did the same thing with PS3 and Rockstar's Agent and FF13 Versus. Needless to say I didn't buy the PS4 until Bloodborne was released. Early adoption can easily be a mistake and I'm not sure you can ever really rationalize it from the customer's perspective.
>I did the same thing with PS3
At least Scalebound never came out unlike Lair that went on to disappoint everyone.
I just really thought it was going to come. Kamiya was involved and it was one of the big games MS was pushing for their upcoming exclusive line-up. It even had a presence at E3 where it was beginning to look like a full fledged game. Even though I bought the Xbox for Scalebound, I was under the impression that MS would announce a ton of other worthwhile games so it would justify my purchase even further, but they really didn't. The Xbox One was a worse purchase than the Wii U for me. It's probably the most expensive mistake I've made.
I don't really see how that's better. I never played it but wasn't the main issue the motion controls tho? I think I've read they patched those for more traditional controls at some point. Did the game suck anyway or was it just too late?
>It's probably the most expensive mistake I've made.
Looking back at all the money I've spent on gaming I think I can honestly say most of it was wasted. Not sure what that says about me.
This right here is why I'm extremely wary of having bought a Switch for Bayonetta 3 and SMT5, I'm perfectly sobered to the possibility any game I'm looking forward to having this system for could be cancelled with no warning.
Why would you buy a console when the game you're interested in doesn't even have a release date
retard
It was designed to show off the motion controls and the gameplay was basically just Warhawk with dragons.
>bought a console for a game that you cant play
literally who does this
So your reasons to purchase an xbox one were unannounced games and a game in early development?
lol
Feel ya, i got a Windows 10 partition on my PC just to play Scalebound and Forza Horizon 3, Scalebound was one of the main games to advertside the whole "play everywhere" thing, i'm still devastated about it today.
Nintendo doesn't cancel games. Even Project Giant Robot got re-worked.
Why would you not just wait until the game you want comes out to get the console?
>tfw also a member of the "bought an xbone for Scalebound" club.
This is the most disappointing console I've owned and I have a Wii U.
They're just baiting, no one can be that retarded.
>It's another "durrr no one was waiting for scalebound" contrarian fucktard.
Only on Sup Forums.
No I played whatever was out at the time like Sunset Overdrive, MCC, and Tomb Raider, but those were just to hold me over until Xbox delivered it's promise of a bright future.
Who even said that you idiot. We're talking about retards buying a console for a game that isn't even out.
Many people did buy a console because Scalebound, that's a fact, try leaving Sup Forums for once, sheltered fucktard.
What are you even trying to argue about, retard.
Maybe you're the one who needs to leave.
>Buying a console for a game without a release date
wot
You are so full of shit.
Nobody would buy an XBone just to play this game when the demo looked like shit. Also, who the fuck buys a console to play one game?
>bought an Xbox One for Scalebound
>who the fuck buys a console to play one game?
That is precisely WHY he's full of shit
