Xenoblade 2

How do you unlock her?

I've been hoarding some rare and legendary cores, and I just want to make sure that I use them correctly.

Any other Blades worth getting?

You have a 0.01% chance of getting it KOS-MOS from a core. She is the strongest blade though.
Good luck

She's a meme.
Go grind Tiger! Tiger! until you maximize Poppi QtPi.

Well fuck

There's no way to up those chances?

0.1% from the Common Crystal.
Legendary Core triples it.
Luck and Justice affinity supposedly affect the drop rate in some way though no one knows how.

It's fucking retarded no matter how you slice it.

Your best shot is to increase Zeke's luck as much as possible with Aux cores and the like and open legendary cores on him.
Still, the chances are really low and if you aren't lucky, it's a grind

I never got her until I started NG+, then I got her from a rare core at the beginning of the game

Pretty sure you have to use a bunch Justice boosters

>How do you unlock her?

Perseverance

Attached: 72=-498.jpg (700x700, 55K)

>Legendary Core triples it.
Oh hot diggity damn a 0.3% chance from legendary crystals I'm cumming.

People were able to data mine the game last month and found out the exact mechanics of blade cores. You can find a calculator online but basically your chances are affected by luck, Core quality, and idea (make sure justice is the highest - so use Zeke).

Got her using Nia

Yeah bruh, its still luck. Its just about maximizing your chances

>so use Zeke
Any character can reach the maximum of 10 Justice, and even a single Justice booster will make the game focus on Light/Dark blades and ignore your non-justice idea stats.

When did Kosmos become a dwarf?

OP, just use this vid. 100% guaranteed method of acquiring kosmos.

youtube.com/watch?v=UCbsP55be4k

> Hold UP + A during the first ping
> Hold DOWN + B during the second ping
> Hold L + R (triggers) + UP during the third and final ping

What the fuck does this actually work?

Or is this the new "press a+b the second the pokeball snaps to guarantee a pokemon capture"

The higher your idea level, the better your chances though.

Judging from those comments, I call bullshit

Fake and gay

>single player game
>Gatcha shit
You can't make this shit up

It saves right before you get your blade so of course it's fake.

Why are her legs so fucking short? Her torso is okay, but how the fuck did her original designer fuck up her legs that much?

Attached: file.png (952x2828, 3.46M)

Yes, and Zeke doesn't necessarily have a better idea level than any other party memebrs.

>Gatcha shit
It doesn't cost any real world currency

That's not even an option

Obviously the third shadow doesn’t even look like her. He just took a random scout and slapped her awakening on it.

It's literally the same as the pokeball placebo legend.

I dunno, she was the first rare blade I got.

pray or something
cause it's all luck based
all your rare and legendary cores have commons more probably tho
game design is shit
there are but they are so miniscule and require way too much grind so better way seems to start NG+ with a lot of blades bonded and then hope that from smaller amount of rare blades you get kosmos more likely.
cause in single playthru - every rare you get will decrease your chances to get another new rare
game is fucking shit

I like this game but damn it could be improved drastically by fixing a few thing

>Remove the gacha shit, it's just annoying really, make a real quest for each blade or at least make a way to get the blade 100% late game
>Improve the environment perk system. It's not a bad idea but god I'm tired of looking at all of my blade to find out who has keen eye/fortitude/whatever, every fucking time, and then that It won't work because unfortunately all three blade are on the same characters.
>Make transfer protocole more common at least late game
>Who the fuck approved the loot system? I don't know how many loot I lost because they fall of the ledge

Attached: 1486444558741.jpg (400x250, 33K)

Why would it be better to start NG+? NG+ adds the Torna blades to the summoning pool, decreasing your chances of getting KOSMOS.

>Who the fuck approved the loot system? I don't know how many loot I lost because they fall of the ledge
wanna know fun fact? game doesn't tell you when you have too many things in your inventory
so when you capped on items - loot just disappears WITHOUT ANY NOTIFICATION
no wonder tons of people fucking quit monolith during development
amount of Torna blades relatevily smaller than amount of rare blades you can get thru one regular playthru.
Or you wanna farm for max legendary cores for a few times when latest blade you need to get is kosmos? Cause the chance of getting last few blades is too fucking small, people wasted hundreds of leg cores before NG+
but after NG+ getting kosmos is way easier

>no wonder tons of people fucking quit monolith during development
What?

I got her through sheer luck.

No, NG+ strictly makes KOSMOS rarer. You are adding more chances to NOT pull her in NG+.
The best chances of pulling KOSMOS are in NG after you have pulled every other Rare Blade, since she is the only rare blade left.

Everything you are saying is baseless and pulled out of your ass without so much as a second thought.

That's how everyone has to get her.

The Idea Justice affects the chance of the blade element to be Light or Dark. The higher the idea the more of a chance that the blade will be from that idea pool

what a terrible fucking design

Tell us what's wrong with it, big boy.

Her 3d model look fine enough but the Art is messed up

Attached: maxresdefault.jpg (1280x720, 77K)

He's probably the same guy that keeps posting about how she looks short in this thread.

well tons was overstatement, but 3 programmers left
also quite some number of work was outsourced
siliconera.com/2018/02/02/monolith-soft-boss-talks-katsura-hashino-xenoblade-chronicles-2-development-struggles/?utm_source=dlvr.it&utm_medium=twitter
I'm judging from experience, fuck off. Before NG+ I wasted tons of cores trying to get anything, after NG+, I got her and most of other new blades pretty quickly.
You are technically right, you have best chance to pull KosMos when you have very few blades left, HOW FUCKING EVER there is quite fucking clear than you have very set percentage chance to get rare blade at the beginning, and that chance of getting RARE blade is decreasing with each blade you get.
What's not clear?
Yeah, with each non kosmos blade you have you have HIGHER chances to get KosMos as rare blade cause amount of rare blades you yet to get is less, HOWEVER chance of getting RARE blade from any core DECREASING each time you get new rare blade.
Getting each rare requires more cores statistics wise. That's a fucking common fact and anyone will fucking agree

I might add that even fucking mobile gacha retards find xenoblade 2 system being fucking shit

Luck 999 (Driver & you)
use Justice Booster

Legendary core farming

>needing to do this shit to obtain shitty equipment replacement
xenoblade 2 was a mistake

>I'm judging from experience
Ah yes, personal anecdotes, the perfect way to judge statistics.
And yes, getting all of the rare blades will require more cores than getting only some of the rare blades, that's fucking obvious and has nothing to do with the chances of pulling KOSMOS, and certainly doesn't mean that adding more blades to the pool will make her more likely to appear.

You shouldn't be playing xenoblades if you aren't ready for farming.

>Ah yes, personal anecdotes, the perfect way to judge statistics.
oh please, can you actually say without outright lying that you have same chance of getting rare blade at the start of the game from let's say 60 common cores, 30 rare cores and 10 legendary cores without any idea points, and you really think it's same chance of getting rare blade while using same amount of cores at the late game when you have most of blades.
Why do you think people fucking farm legendary cores as retards they are? Cause they have SAME FUCKING CHANCE OF GETTING RARE BLADE DURING WHOLE GAME?
In NG+ pool fucking resets and chances of getting blades spread more evenly than not in NG+. Overall amount non bonded blades got lower (if player already bonded majority of blades in regular playthru) therefore getting them all is easier in the end

No. I play a lot of gacha shit and think 2’s system is pretty okay.

>can you actually say without outright lying that you have same chance of getting rare blade at the start of the game from let's say 60 common cores, 30 rare cores and 10 legendary cores without any idea points, and you really think it's same chance of getting rare blade while using same amount of cores at the late game when you have most of blades.
Yes. People have datamined the game, if there was an invisible flag that made rare blades more common at the beginning of the game, we would know about it.
You are using your single anecdotal experience to draw a conclusion on the statistical workings of the entire game. You're dumb.

I like my farming and my grinding when it's pulled off at least half decently.
problem is that behind farming and grinding locked not some minor content but basically character with quests which other more lucky people already got.
when everyone reaches content same way, no big deal, but when you need to do all that shit when other doesn't need to do - just cause you were less lucky - now that's bullshit.

>flag
there was no talk about flag, idiot. talk about how fucking overall pool of rare blades working mechanically.
well what else to expect from xenoblade 2 retarded fan I guess, no point wasting time on you anymore

If you hate the game so much, then why are you here?

Attached: 1496954595173.png (1280x1122, 189K)

You are saying that entering NG+ and diluting the summoning pool even further with the Torna blades somehow increases your chance of getting KOSMOS.
This flies in the face of literally all rational reasoning, and you are either too mouthbreathingly stupid to comprehend this yourself, or have some understanding of the game that nobody else does, and are just far too ESL to communicate that in your posts.

>only kind, fuzzy and warm talk allowed in my thread, otherwise it'll hurt my feelings
cause I expected better from monolith and not this piece of crap

I'm saying pool fucking resets to some degree, spreading chances evenly from amount of unbonded rare blades otherwise getting torna blades would be harder than getting kosmos

>also quite some number of work was outsourced
Because Nintendo took all of Monolith.

EVERYONE STFU! Best girl is coming through.

Based Morag

as much I like BotW I wish this situation was somehow avoided, but no, they needed jrpg during launch year and rushed job with less than half of the team

Just use Rex, max his luck to 999 which is very possible at 99 and some tweaks. Than just pass it to whoever with a overdrive

The Special Inquisitor is a very fine lady.

How the fuck?

Why zeke?

>tfw this is the only hot art we'll get of Mòrag

Years of training.

Best luck stat, ironically enough

Chain Attack and Adenine/Patroka multiplying the Touch-Me-Not shots by x32 damage, stacking ether mod blades, and all the other damage increases from skills, accessories, and aux cores.

In NG+ Zeke has the lowest luck stat. L

NG+ with Reverse Affinity Charts Level 99 base stats:
Rex
HP 7913
Strength 426
Ether 492
Dexterity 363
Agility 258
Luck 424

Nia
HP 7236
Strength 397
Ether 463
Dexterity 358
Agility 267
Luck 421

Tora
HP 8465
Strength 404
Ether 375
Dexterity 344
Agility 276
Luck 466

Mòrag
HP 7645
Strength 415
Ether 424
Dexterity 367
Agility 284
Luck 396

Zeke
HP 8045
Strength 468
Ether 449
Dexterity 385
Agility 228
Luck 348

Ah, well, I haven't started my NG+ yet.

That is literally the opposite of the case. People tell you to roll her on Zeke because he has the highest Justice idea stat, and because most players have a weird hangup where they HAVE to have all blades of a certain class on one driver.

Attached: 1518722460683.jpg (472x699, 133K)

Does the boosters help in any way to get a rare blade or is it just for stats/field skills?

The fuck is reverse affinty charts?

Every character gets a second affinity chart in NG+, press Y in the chart menu. Has some good stuff like reduce enemy break resist, revival pod effect for everyone, more stats, and Zeke's Eye of Shining Justice that's kind of like a Pnemua transformation but for Pandoria instead (massive animation speed and damage buff).
