Finally found it! I fucking found it! The ULTIMATE and INDEPTH look at each version of Ninja Gaiden created by GOD players of the franchise a few years ago. Now when someone tells you something about Ninja Gaiden you can direct them to these links.
Every time there's a NG thread on Sup Forums you get a bunch of faggots thinking they know what their talking about and shit posting about Sigma. Well here's the truth!
top kek, the only good 3D NG was XBOX HUEG exclusive.
Jacob Robinson
see OP faggot
Ian Flores
Sigma is decent but Black is the better game and is the way the game was meant to be experienced.
2 and 3 are shit and aren't worth playing.
Thomas Nguyen
tldr; gimme the short version
Hudson Lopez
that was back when microsoft had any interest in making the xbox seem like a valid option, releasing an exclusive on the xbone nowadays is a death sentence
Jaxson Kelly
What makes you prefer Black over Sigma
Mason Adams
>Black is the way the game was meant to be experienced Black is the cucked version of the original.
see OP faggot, your opinion doesn't matter. You're not even good at NG. You're just some random that barely beat the game. Probably haven't even did a 2018 playthrough.
Andrew Jenkins
Doesn't have the pace breaking Rachel chapters, doesn't have the annoying new enemies like the motorcycle faggots, has all of the adventure and puzzle elements that lent the first game a sense of atmosphere.
Black is more polished and has a way better camera as well as more content. The only thing that is actually worse is that vanilla NG had the actual NES trilogy which is good instead of the shitty arcade game that Black had.
Adam Jenkins
Is there a higher res version of this? The text is kinda hard to read
Sebastian Roberts
The avoid/get image says that you can't heal while you're grabbed in Black, but that's not true. You can open up the menu and heal at any point.
Blake Long
>Rightclick >Save >Open >Zoom
May or may not be as efficient if you're a Glasses-Kun
Parker Smith
I did that, but the text is way too blurry to comfortably read. Is there somewhere to dl the text files themselves?
Jace Lopez
Ninja Gaiden 4 Switch exclusive.
Zachary Carter
I do not remember who was the original creator of the text doc. It was made and shared with the community of Ninja Gaiden players who then added to it. But I believe a player by the name of Trax might be able to find it for you. Shit was years ago man.
Elijah Wright
Can you answer why they called it SIGMA? Strange choice.
Jeremiah Peterson
DMC5 is actually way more likely than NG4. We at least know that the DMC team is up to something, even if it may be another game entirely, plus there's the HD collection that just released, the fact that voice actors have hinted towards another game, etc. It could be nothing but there's a somewhat decent-ish chance of a new DMC game being announced at E3.
With NG though, TN is working on like, three other things and we know they'd rather work on a new Ni-oh than a new NG game since Souls-likes are profitable these days.
Oliver Stewart
There's no NG4 before Nioh 2, but TN also said Nioh was a step for NG's future.
Matthew Clark
>Regarding the difficulty of both of games, if you played NG2 first you'll notice that NGS2 thanks to some of its changes like less enemies or slighty different enemy waves is significantly easier in Acolyte, Warrior and Mentor. In Master Ninja it starts to get harder mainly because the grabs/throws are instakill or will chop off 90% of your full health bar in the best scenario and enemies love to use them (because of that grabs come slighty slower in NGS2 than in NG2). Personally even though NGS2's MN is challenging I say it is pretty lame compared to NG2's MN raw difficulty
Good summary, Sigma 2 sucks.
Jayden Moore
>but TN also said Nioh was a step for NG's future. wat
What did they mean by this? Does that mean the next NG game is going to have a camera like Ni-oh then? And remember what Kamiya said what he'd do if he made a new DMC game, with it having an over-the-shoulder perspective like the new GoW? Is that the future of the CUHRAYZEE genre?
Jeremiah Green
Black > II > Sigmas > RE > 3
this is the only correct answer.
Nathaniel Cox
>He plays only on Acolyte, Warrior, Mentor What a fucking scrub
>And remember what Kamiya said what he'd do if he made a new DMC game, with it having an over-the-shoulder perspective like the new GoW? He didn't say that.
Jack Anderson
Some of the best players in the world like the god FuckingNinjas prefers Sigma over Black.
Dominic Kelly
>reduced enemy count Of course it sucks. Even RE is better than this shit
Lincoln Ramirez
3 was multiplat. i'd imagine if they made a 4, it would be ps4/xbone/switch (maybe not pc because none of the others are). it would most likely also suck major ass. i hope they do not make a 4.
Chase Sanchez
>implying
Jose Moore
>Even RE is better than this shit RE is actually the hardest game in the entire series believe it or not. But that's thinks to the game being cheap as fuck.
It's the only entry I finished on MNM. I honestly really like RE. At least it fucking throw a ton of enemies at me and I like the higher gameplay speed. It's fucking fun. Meanwhile NGS2 is slooooow, badly paced, slows down even more (in game speed!) if there's 4 dudes on screen and there's no gore. It's incredibly how they fucked that game over, the 360 seems nothing like this. I need a 360..
Juan Mitchell
He said Capcom should consider making it more of a cinematic adventure game, similar to GoW, because he doesn't believe a DMC-style game could survive today's market. I think he's half right, if it's just "DMC4: Actually finished edition" I think it'll sink outside of hardcore gaming circles, but Plat's own output proves him wrong. Not every game of theirs is a high seller, obviously but the ones that do sell are generally using the same kind of gameplay philosophy as DMC but they're easier to master(at least compared to 4)
Alexander Rodriguez
I don't give a flying fuck. I just want one more DMC game from Itsuno that is complete an has every playable character with an improved moveset. I could play this for the remainder of my gaming career. I've been playing DMC4 since release and it's 10 years old.
Angel Cooper
Not him but I hear you bro. Just give me a classic DMC game with a fully fleshed out campaign and every playable character in the series with new moves and improvements in their movesets. And then from there, I guess we can get experimental, but more so in terms of setting and story, like a Sparda prequel.
Brody Collins
>multiple characters Eh I'd rather just have them focus on Dante & maybe add characters as DLC or something later on, if they really had to add another character I hope it's just a fleshed out Nero
Gavin Stewart
>no vergil allowed in vergil's game
What the fuck user.
Jose Anderson
How difficult is the game exactly if I'm going to play as cheap as possible abusing any way to win? Also assume I've got EVO level reaction speed because I unironically am a training partner of an asian evo placer (not Korean though)
Nathan Robinson
Dante's been the frontman of DMC forever, I don't want a prequel I just want a good, definitive end for my boy before they completely move on
Josiah Foster
1 was a perfectly fine ending for Dante's story, there doesn't need to be more to it. I'd rather see a Sparda prequel than anything.
Dominic King
>mfw they'll be realistic, cinematic TLoU clones where they escort their wife's sons
Bayonetta is pretty good, but it didn't come close to Ninja Gaiden for me.
Sebastian Morris
Even abusing moves with i-frames in NG2 Vanilla on MNM, you will have a hard time. I beat it with almost 700 deaths and that was coming straight off of a NGB MNM playthrough.
>Ninja Gaiden Black Normal: Shouldn't have too many issues. Some bosses may trip you up a bit Hard a bit more difficult but still not much issues. Master Ninja: Master Ninja is truly challenging because unlike games such as DMC, you can't carry over your progress to a new difficulty unless you've already beaten that difficulty. Bosses have mobs added to them and there are tons of late game enemies placed in the early game segments. It gets better when you get upgrades to your disposal.
>Ninja Gaiden 2 Normal: slightly easier than Black's normal, for the most part. Hard: slightly harder than Black's Hard Master Ninja: an absolute pain in the ass early game due to the enemy placement but gets a lot more managable once mid game rolls around.
Connor Lewis
I feel that the level design, camera, and balancing (visual signposting / tells specifically) are very weak in NG, and that DMC's level design and bosses (particularly in 3 and 4) are huge detriments to games that otherwise have great combat systems.
Carter Torres
Yeah, I had a good laugh checking out NG2 MN "guides" with people playing new game+ with everything unlocked from the 1st chapter.
James Gomez
I can agree about level design, in NG2 especially, since the game got very linear. Didn't have any problems with balancing, and the combat made up for everything I had gripes with anyway.
Justin Scott
The level design has always been my favourite in the NG game compared to other action games like DMC and Bayonetta other than DMC1.
Easton Gonzalez
The only Ninja Gaiden game I've played is Razor's Edge. How badly did I fuck up?
Oliver Lewis
It's the weakest out of the 3. Yaiba and the original NG3 don't count.
Parker Allen
I don't remember there ever being a significant debate.
Gavin Anderson
I think the only real debate happens between 2 and Sigma 2. I wonder how many people played both.
Jack Peterson
Tekken 7.
Nicholas Reyes
Ionly when NGBfags shit post. for some reason they're not here today.
Ian James
I did play both, but I only finished Ninja Gaiden 2 on MN.
David Diaz
>Black still has no PC port >Xbox emulation is still nonexistent It's a damn shame, and if Koei does want to do a Ninja Gaiden PC port then they would probably port Sigma or something .
David Murphy
at least it's playable in 4k on xbox one x. closest you'll ever get to running it "at max settings".
Dylan Lewis
I think Phil said something about bringing the original xbox emulation to win10, but I'm not sure what's taking them so long.
Justin Long
Thoughts on Vergil in DMC3? I just finished the game with him on Hard and thought it was pretty fun but a little limiting. All 3 weapons combined probably have the same number of moves as Dante but each one on their own felt a little limited, the fact that he doesn't have a single pause combo is sort of baffling. His Darkslayer style was fun but I wish he could also use Royal Guard somehow since he uses it in the boss fights.
I always heard that he was really overpowered in this game but the only things about him that seemed overpowered were his aerial attacks with Yamato and his taunt than regens DT super fast. Nothing compared to how stupidly powerful he is in 4 though.
