Aside from fringe consoles like the virtual boy and the CDi, I think that this is in the running for the worst mainline video game system ever made. The main competitor, at least recently (And I don't really think it's worth going way back to things like the Atari Jaguar,) was the Wii U, and even that had a pretty big library that's being brought to the Switch.
The big games on the Xbox One are Forza, which no matter how pretty they are are just the car simulators that have existed since the arcade era, and Halo, which is another space shooter that'll never top 3 or ODST.
Face it, this thing doesn't just suck, it's one of the worst ever.

It has better online, better UI and better "free" games every month. It's also backwards compatible with xbox and xbox 360 games.

Best UI, most powerful system, best online, and best place for multiplats. In short, you're wrong OP. I have all 3, and the X1X is the one I use the most by a wide margin. I almost never turn the PS4 on, and the Switch I only use during my commute and on flights.

The Saturn has an infinitely better line-up of games than any XBox console. The Dreamcast has at least worthwile exclusives. Even the Wii U has games that can't be played anywhere else. The XBone has multiplats that run better on PC and/or Microsoft's biggest competitor's console.

You couldn't be more wrong. I bought all those systems when they were new and relevant. The Saturn alone has dozens of great games that were never ported anywhere, or in some cases, there were ports that either were done horribly or remain Japanese only to this day (e.g. Dragon Force port for the PS2.)

this gen has nothing substantial to offer, we are 5 years and i bought about 10 new games and a only a few kept my interest, last gen was shit but atleast the games ouptput was better

I didn't know about that port. My point still stands though. The Saturn in particular, but the DC as well, are better than the XBone can ever aspire to be.

Imo, the PS4 is a bad console too, and I prefer both Saturn and DC over it as well. But this thread isn't about the PS4.

They gave it a complete overhaul at least 3 times, and it's still shit (2nd one was best). It's better than the ps4 though.

They are you can play them on Xbox you can’t play them on a Sony or Nintendo platform. Og Xbox emulation isn’t a thing so to play ngb it’s kinda the only way.

Or you could get a cheap og xbox (or simply hook up your old system to your tv) to play the game? It's like arguing the Wii U is a great console because you can play a lot of SNES games on it.

Actually the virtual console was great and a selling feature. The Xbox one version of ngb has no frame rate issues or screen tearing it works well on modern TVs and you don’t have to fuck about with eBay buying systems that probably don’t work.
