Bump
STOP FUCKING PLAYING WOW
WE'LL NEVER GET WOW2 WHEN YOU IDIOTS KEEP PAYING FOR THIS 20 YEAR OLD GAME
>what if we took half of eveyrthing your class acquired over Legion and then gave it back to you as new content
Yeah nah fuck you Ion
loot boxes when?
>WOW 2
what kind of underage faggot would want this
>horde side has Sylvanas leading a bunch of greenskins
lmao that is so terrible, why did they kill off all the cool leaders
Litteraly WoD 2.0. Don't buy bfa, it's another filler expansion
>Allied races
Shit concept, no one asked for this. We asked for more customization options
>Alliance vs. Horde conflict
Worst storyline
>Removing world PvP
Worst decision ever
>Only 3 leveling zones
Wtf, Wotlk had 8
>Removing tier sets
>Fat human druids
Rip lore
>Fox people
This isn't a Asian mmo
>No new classes or new race
Allied race shit doesn't count
>Destroying undercity
Fuck you Blizzard
Are they keeping mythic+? I thought that was a fun mechanic
No
What the fuck is that supposed to be?
Retard
Yeah
Pretty much everything that worked from Legion they are keeping (WQ and M+ specifically), plus adding more.
I am worried about Island Expeditions and Warfronts though. We have so little information that not sure what to expect. I also worry that each raid will have a Cloth set, Mail set, etc like the Trial of Valor special sets. That would be ass.
At worse expect Legion without Legendaries and Tier sets
let the game die already
>Legion without legendaries
Honestly the worst part of legion. I havnt given a shit about pvp since mists but getting a raid spot over the rogue who got the good legendary was ass when I got the fucking belt generic leggo. Off of an educated guess Id say the island expeditions will be like legion scenarios and warfronts will be some organic battlegrounds like wintergrasp but dynamically placed instead of once every 8 hours
Yeah fuck legendaries. I still haven't gotten the BiS ring for my DH and I have been playing since Legion launch, though on and off
I would and I'm 25. WoW needs massive change.
I know that feel hard, i was DH tanking mythic+ for my guild early on. Got the first leggo in my group. Runeshapers pauldrons. I didnt get another legendary until patch 7.3 on him
It sucks because I think the idea behind the legendaries is kind of cool- different combos can completely change the playstyle of the spec.
However them being absolutely RANDOM drops was fucking lazy. The vendor added in 7.3 was a step in the right direction, but it should have been there since launch.
Why would they trash tier sets? Seems illogical. Like they just shotgun changes to see if that will kill the game or not for the lulz
Nothing really tickles my fancy like the announcement for Legion did. There are no new groundbreaking features and I guess it will feel more like a huge patch for Legion.
I also play horde and troll aesthetics are ugly as fuck. Might convince my friends to go alliance only for that reason.
gonna be great. already preorderd
WoW 2 would be awesome for the game because the engine desperatly needs an update
Check this out what some random did with Unreal 4: youtube.com
I also got them pre buff, they were even more ass than they are now. They needed either the legendary token from 7.0 onward or they needed to buff them so that getting a bad legendary wasnt putting you down 300k dps from someone who got the good one.
Tier bonuses are becoming part of the azerite system. Early looks at it show it gives your head shoulders and chest get buffs based on your necks artifact power, and at certain milestones you get tier bonus-esque bonuses to it. IE ele shamans getting a stacking buff for casting consecutive lightning bolts over a 10 second period
We get new multiplayer games very rarely now. Devs realized its better for their money to make one game and then just pump lootboxes into it...
Seems fair. Is the neck gonna be an artifact power dump type system?
the ideal man
Yeah. No word on how well itll work or if its cross spec but its basically the replacement for tier bonuses. After the backlash of RNG based loot from legion, I can see why they are taking this direction. Its also supposedly going to let you pick from a selection of tier set bonuses, but its blizzard so really itll be a raid tier bonus and some "shitter alert" tier bonuses
I partly like it because of tier sets locking you into a style of play for a tier. Without these, I can play how I want without being forced into the "proper" build for a raid tier even if I hate it. I.e. if you hate the demonic play of DH, you're out of luck.
This is assuming though azerite gear will have "trees" like old talent trees. I think that would be neat. I wouldn't like it if it is just like the artifact though where everything eventually gets unlocked on it.
Interesting. I don't see why they couldn't just bake that into the current artifact weapons. Just feels kinda shitty when you drop the ashbringer for a levling green that you get from the first kill x amount of things quest
As you go out through rings you pick skills. Same gear at different ilvls give the same skills, just better.
Ashbringer, along with every other artifact weapon, is getting D/E'd and removed. Forever. In a magical asspull by Blizzard.
Our artifacts are going to be retired in some way with that giant sword of Sargeras in silithus. We like absorb its power, making it go unstable, and have to lock them up
>graphicsfag
How come whenever someone talks WoW2 it's almost always about the graphics? Never about what kind of content WoW2 would have, what limitations in gameplay they could shake off, but it's always either hype about armour that isn't painted on and HQ zones. Seems to me like a shitty reason to want a WoW2.
We're not getting WoW2 until everyone's here old and grey, anyway. The current market is unfriendly to MMOs, and developers generally prefer taking on new IPs than making sequels to long-running MMOs, which is how Titan started. Note how it had ex-WoW vet devs on it while new blood continued working on WoW. Nobody sane in the game industry wants to work on the same fucking IP forever.
Friendly reminder that the entirety of Legion could have been avoided if the Alliance and Horde had just let Tirion set up another Tournament on the Broken Shore.
Too bad you fags cried too much and now we have plotholes, dead leaders, another pointless faction war, and more Elves than we know what to do with.
Feels like a poor lore cover up for them to drop the weapon system
It looks like a good basis for WarCraft IV, but I'm probably the only one who cares by now.
Lore has been in service of the game's systems for a very, very long time, arguably since its inception. They're just more blatant about it nowadays.
the new engine is just part of it, you must agree that the wow engine is dated as fuck
>The current market is unfriendly to MMOs
the biggest obstacle of a selfsustaining MMO is the playerbase and Blizzard already have that
secondly would be a fine polished endgame right from the start, i mean just look at Wildstar and how great that game was but then there were lackluster endgame content and people stopped playing it which creates a viscious cycle where the MMO eventually dies
Blizzard have the playerbase AND the cash to create WoW 2 if they wanted, but they probably think it would be too much of an investment at the moment especially since WoW is doing just fine
I'd like to see a warcraft IV that deals with Bolvar's shenanigans
>Caring about Warcraft lore anymore
If Void Elves didn't stop you from taking it seriously then nothing will
No point to spend all that cash if wow is nowhere near dying
Spotted the High Elf.
>Even Raid Loot is personal
Sure they had to do something about split runs and the top end guilds poopsocking every raid in a week.
But honestly what's the point of even having guilds at this point if they have no agency whatsoever?
Personal Loot can still be traded to other raid members. Literally the only reason they made the change was because Guilds would run ML and then not give non-guildies any of the loot, despite the Guild being the minority in the raid.
ML already requires 80% guild group. You can't run a Pug group then fuck people over.
Forcing personal Loot on everyone is retarded. If I get a higher ilvl piece for myself, but it is better off for another member of my raid, there is no way I could trade it. Guilds have no way of controlling loot distribution
>But honestly what's the point of even having guilds at this point if they have no agency whatsoever
Because when I do LFR with 24 retards I dont know we wipe, kick everyone doing 300k dps, repeat to 3 stacks. When I do Heroic with the boys on a sunday night we have some banter, sone brews and clean up in about 3 hours.
>Guilds have no way of controlling loot distribution
You can trade personal loot for 2 hours after it drops to other people in your raid. Its honestly an improvement if you have ever been on the wrong end of guild politics
kys blizzard shill. keep playing your casual ruined trash
? You can’t trade personal loot that is a higher ilevel than the piece you have currently
For shits and giggles I did the free trial after not playing since the first WoW. The game seems to have become worse. Classes feel dumbed down because you split all their abilities between three specializations. A lot of the flavor seems gone to favor streamlining purposes, for example questing to get your totems as a shaman. The graphics are still the same old shit that they were. The economy is fucked with all the gold that people have.
Why do people keep playing this garbage?
Tiers are fucking trash now. It's just random drops you're completely uncompetetive without that force you into a certain playstyle.
Don't have your 4-piece? Too bad, you're fucked. Found a 15 ilvl upgrade piece? Don't wanna lose out on that tier bonus, do you? You play a spec built entirely around haste and mastery? Too fucking bad, you get versatility and crit for the next six months.
I had to google it because that sounds retarded. It never came up but I can see the issue.
>Classes feel dumbed down because you split all their abilities between three specializations
>Go from having a 3 button rotation and 20+ skills you never use to an 8 button priority system and 4 skills you barely use
Sucks they killed a bunch of lore quests with the way classes changed but i never understood why people called it dumbed down. If Ele shaman still had rockbiter weapon would that somehow make them more complex?
Playable snakes when?
People's reactions have been pretty mixed. Sure, nothing like MoP backlash, just getting an apathetic vibe from the discussion I've followed. I'm sure it'll be better than it seems though, cause it looks pretty bad. Too bad modern WoW is a shitshow and even "good" expacks nowadays are bad.
>Too bad modern WoW is a shitshow and even "good" expacks nowadays are bad
My favorite part of legion is how few features sucked total ass. Its wierd how many people liked legion because it wasnt WoD
Playable ogres.
