Was this game actually good or not?
I played it when I was 7 and had a blast.

Well Dolphin is a thing so you could always just play the game in 4K on PC instead of paying $30+ for a port of (the inferior version) of a 15 year old game.

Its genuinely one of the best licenced games out there

it's alright, it gets way more praise than it should but it isn't bad. it's certainly a lot better if you're a kid.

It's pretty fucking good my man, definitely recommend it

Its a good game sure, but I think this and other games like Hit & Run are overrated because expectations for licensed games are practically non-existent. Also the voice actor for Mr. Krabs was fucking trash, why couldn't they just get Clancy Brown?

It was good for a third party Gamecube/PS2 era 3D platformer. But that doesn't make it a good game that holds up today.

pretty much this. you'll enjoy them but they're not amazing.

>Open level structure let's you choose (for the most part) the order of levels and what collectibles you get on each level.
>Multiple playable characters with unique abilities and stages designed around switching between them and using said abilities.
>Some of the best enemies in any platformer that are really well positioned throughout the stages.
>A freaking combo system that rewards speed by decreasing grinding.
>So many goddamn references and locations from the show.
>Actually has some pretty funny dialogue.
I would argue it's better than "alright". The only problems I have with it are Kelp Forest and the fact that the game is pretty easy for the most part.

This

Only gripe is the Mr. Krabs voice actor.

Remember when Game Grumps played this and then dropped it because they didn't like it. Literal shit taste in video games.

>kelp forest
>chum bucket
I hated these levels so god damn much

Remember when arin said he would play more but never did?

fpbp

Kelp Forest and Rock Bottom were the only levels that gave me trouble. The Chum Bucket wasn't so much a level as a boss fight IIRC

The GC version has texture issues when emulating

fantastic game 10/10

Sand Mountain was kind of a shit level if you missed anything on tbe way down a slide and had to repeat it

if you turn off scaled EFB copy there aren't

They didnt like it because they never watched spongebob. Arin has said that he didnt watch a whole lot of spongebob and wasnt that into it and its obvious Dan hasnt watched it. If Jon was around, he wouldve had a blast.

Experiences this then downloaded the PS2 emulator and iso, runs flawlessly.

Huh? There was a combo system? I don't remember this.

The more enemies you hit in a short period of time, the higher your combo gets I think
