Far Cry Primal:

Primal has to be the lowest point in Ubishits history of boring turds...

>every inch of progress is behind a massive amount grinding for resources
>not only do you get nothing for hunting down all the collectibles...they even have the audacity to cap the XP gain at around 90%.
>this game eclipses the sheer amount of animal slaughtering from all the other games. Always pushing for unnecessary violence while keeping the auto generated loot stashes as unprofitable as possible. And then the very last cutscene shows us a child becoming friends with an animal....how sincere of you ubishit.
>all the weapons are flimsy trash and even the best upgraded bow is more shitty then the starting bow of the other games.
>the map is overcrowded as fuck with nonsensically spawning enemies that will annoy the shit out of you, and an unbearable amount of utterly useless side-content that gives you no sense of accomplishment.
>the more skills you unlock the more the map becomes filled with irritating crap that never goes away.
>while the map is massive you get no memorable locations at all out of it.
>they have Borderlands 2 like raid bosses in the game that have so much fucking health that you have to fight them for ages.
>the problem of not respawning outposts is still a thing, but this time they're also entirely boring to do (since no real strongholds are to be found in that time period)

I was so pumped for this game as it's setting got me really enticed but after seeing recent clips I can't help but think it's the same mediocre shit that Ubisoft and the industry at large pumps out all the time. Also I've also heard that there are microtransations that speed up time so you don't have to grind as much. I have to say making the game boring so you can put fun behind a microtransaction paywall has to be one of the most greedy tactics I've ever seen, it's quite laughable that people will still eat this shit up.

The gold edition actually seems worth it, especially since the arcade editor gets the dlc content added to it. It's a gold mine for content creators.

Go play Far Cry 3, 4, and Primal and then come back and tell me you're """"hyped"""" to play the exact same game again for a fourth time. The formula could not be more stale and dull now, and I had hope they would finally change it with this, but they haven't. Same UI, weapons, gameplay, etc.

No normal human being could possibly do this without getting completely burnt out, so I Don't believe you unless you just popped each in for like ten minutes. They are identical aside from setting.

it's actually quite fast to go through them when you know what you're doing, took like 10 hours each
outposts, assassinations and hostage missions etc are where the fun is for me, so i only do that

at least the kids don't have to dodge rockets shot by 2.5m tall mutants while evading slashes from mindless creeps that leap from other side of the map while taking potshots at whatever leave moved because an invisible shitter with a silenced mp5 might be there
