Mediocre game. It's worth maybe $5
Whole milk is best for tea and coffee. 2% is best for cereal.
it's a relatively dull JRPG, with solid music. if you're hard up for a JRPG, I'd say give it a go, but really head over to Xenoblade 2 instead.
Great game. The characters are a bit bland, but the story is interesting and it has a nice minimalist piano sound track.
Milk does not go in tea or coffee
This too.
>Any more than 1,5%
It's like you want to get fat. I prefer 0,5% fat.
Milk tea is God tier, what the fuck is wrong with you?
>using commas for decimal places
It's like you want to be third world
What fucker puts milk in tea and coffee?
Any game that prides itself on being a copy of something (in this case Chrono Trigger) does not deserve money
It's not remotely a copy, it's just inspired by, which sets up all the wrong expectations
This game was completely butchered in translation.
I shouldn't say butchered - the original script is littered with double meanings and word play that doesn't directly translate into other languages. A lot of characterisation and subtler story points are lost in the english.
Take the japanese title: Ikenie to Yuki no Setsuna.
Setsuna = moment (that's why "SP" is mistranslated as 'momentum' points), so we have "The Sorrow and Snow of Setsuna" or can also be read as "The Moment of Sacrifice and Snow" and also several other different readings. "Setsuna" is also a culturally loaded word with lots of associations in Japanese.
So yeah. A real pity. I couldn't enjoy the game knowing I was getting basically a half assed version.
OP here, thank you all. I will save my money for super mario odesy (Yes I know, best game ever blah blah blah but I bought fifa 18).
>learn just enough Japanese to disappoint yourself
Class act
>I bought fifa 18
確かに
Naming your character after a word isn't really a word play. Ikenie wouldn't be translated as sorrow either. Do you have any other examples? Word play is extremely common in Japanese, so you're effectively suggesting no one could ever enjoy a translation of anything Japanese
DO ET FAGGOT
why didn't you mention you were deciding between the two in your original post jackass? mario is the obvious choice.
or cereal
>milk in coffee
Oops ikenie = sacrifice
Names in Japanese are derived from common words more directly than in English. Setsuna isn't "naming a character after a word".
Another example would be Nidr's name in Japanese, Yomi. The word most commonly means underworld but can form a verb meaning to come back to life or to recall memories. Very relevant points to Nidr's story arc.
Because it was half price stupid
Writing is trash. Localization and all that.
>I bought fifa 18
JRPGs sucks
There's a huge eshop sale starting tomorrow user.
Wait to see if it's further discounted. Would recommend skipping IaS and going for Lost Sphear though
Those aren't usual Japanese names.
>I am Setsuno
More like I am shit
Okay thanks!
