I just finished Ghost Trick, it was as good as everyone said it was and now I'm sad it's finished but really glad I made the trip
Now playing Pokémon Art Academy and it's surprisingly fun and addicting

Rune Factory 4 is one of the best games for this console (in my opinion of course)

Played the DS version. IMHO, it's actually pretty good. There's branching paths, but most of them are BAD ENDs. Your milage may vary.

Ever Oasis was the best game Nintendo put out in 2017 in my opinion and it is an absolute travesty it got no attention.

I got a feeling I hadn't felt since Fantasy Life from it.

Rune Factory and Etrian Odyssey are both must play staples of the 3DS. I highly suggest you play both.

Ever oasis is good you nigger, the game is extra comfy and Esna a cute.

Rune Factory 4 and Etrian Odyssy 4 are both solid start points and neither have any story to require earlier games first. However, both games greatly improve with every iteration so I'd say start with RF3 if you can.

3DS cartridges are fucking garbage. I had the same happen to both my Tales of the Abyss and Pokemon Sun cartridges. They just one day decided to stop working. The biggest reason why I had zero guilt hacking my 3DS.

After a recent Nintendo direct I went and replaced my OG 3ds with a newer model. Nintendo is obviously keeping this thing going for a bit longer and I have a fair amount of games to play yet on it. It's an odd feel.

I still have my o3dsxl. Not getting rid of it. But that hack where you can adjust your clock speed is really fucking nice. I hope you hacked it so you can unleash it's true potential.

I pretty much exclusively use my O3ds to play monster hunter games, and recently hacked it so I could play XX in english, but even with the circle pad pro the tiny screen and just how old and flimsy the device feels is getting to me. Is it worth it to upgrade to a new 2ds XL? I'd have to hack it again and then I'd want to put a psp cap onto the c-stick nub.

Nintendo already said they are looking into a new 3DS successor, it was confirmed by Kimishima last year and brought up a few months ago.

Get a 2DS, they're $80 or less when brand new at some places. I recall shamestop/EB having a green one for that much.

My OXL I've begun to notice some wear. Somehow there's a chip out of the hinge despite only carrying it in a cloth book case, and the charge port recently had the central plug shift to the side and I was unable to plug it in until I manually (gently) moved it back with a thin knife after turning it off.
I'm too much of a pussy to take the back plate off the NXL I bought to replace it though, it makes weird cracking sounds but I need to change the SD card.

Miura's a fun unit, I wish I had more use for Drauks in general. More often it's better to just bring a bow seedling and a good Lagora unit (usually I bring the one with poison blades).
