At this point pretty much just a good Pokemon game for the Switch. Whether that be some new incarnation of Pokemon Stadium - or just a straight new Pokemon generation with brilliant graphics in 3d then I'd basically cream my pants and regardless of who "wins" E3 - it'll make more money than the rest combined.

i've totally lost faith in gamefreak. X and Y was a step down from the norm but understandable with the introduction of a new type and making everything 3d, but it never got better again. I highly doubt the switch will be taken advantage of. it'll just be sun and moon length with prettier graphics.

I'll be honest - Sun and Moon was my first foray back into Pokemon for years and it absolutely blew me away.

It's got a lot of issues. There is too much dialogue/cut scenes, way too many evolution items. A lot of the writing is bad.

But the sheer novelty/discovery of seeing a new take on old Pokemon, engagement of island challenges, the Battle Tree, the RotomDex's Pokemon snap minigame. Not to mention UB's and the possibilities therein, all made it great for me.

Try black and white, and black2 and white 2.

not to mention heartgold and soulsilver if you haven't tried them yet.

if you liked sun and moon you should try games that game out before it. trust me, sun and moon is probably the absolute worst (main series) pokemon game.
