Well, I did come up with this with the imperium (This is the general structure I came up with most of the factions). Note that special units are unlockable when a special point is captured.

No, Aeldar is the original name of the pre-slaanesh Eldar.
They did some shit with the Eldar death god Ynnead(?) and now its followers adopted their race's old name. Also that faction hosts both dark eldar and craftworld eldar. And they're buddy buddy with Guilliman, so there's that.
The entire crusade was called off because of tyranids. Were it not for the tyranids, the Tau would be dead.
Also because status quo, they are still somehow relevant in the ultramar area of the galaxy.
