What game would you speedrun? tell me about it
What game would you speedrun? tell me about it
none
I play games to enjoy them
This. I feel like speedrunning a game I love would make me eventually hate it. Also I know what speedrunning does to people.
I would speedrun games I've played when I was a kid.
I want to pet that sea-pupper.
Kirby's dreamland for the gameboy. I used to beat it in under an hour as a kid
That game shouldn't even take 30 minutes in a casual playthrough.
It's been a long time since I've played it, but I could probably speedrun Silent Hill 2 decently well. Maybe.
strider
Only games I play through quickly are Sonic the Hedgehog.
I speedrun Papers, Please
Resident Evil 5
probably vanquish
I went for the "complete the game without dying once" achievement and finished the game in around 1 hour 50 minutes, if you played it properly you could probably finish it in under an hour
>What game would you speedrun?
Speedrunning is such bullshit though, you spend months perfecting inane, already found out bullshit misshaps so that you can get a weeks low high from stroking your own ego.
And nobody is gonna go "Oh look there is whatshisface, he did that game really fast." You can't do it for yourself, you can't do it for others, and you can't do it for posterity because who the fuck cares about poorly coded media. Pointless.
But it's fun.
I speed run Sonic the Hedgehog Green Hill Zone 1
23 seconds I think was my best time
I speedrun mirror's edge, pretty comfy to be quite honest with you.
sauce on the pic?
Only dragon's dogma and only because it was easy and offered rewards.
Still haven't platinumed Nier because of that retarded ass "beat the game in under 16 hours" trophy, go fuck yourself Taro.
Penis berserker pt2
I would never speed run anything, I don't have the time, but I do enjoy watching them. I'll usually watch one or 2 before bed, I find them comfy. I don't even hate on agdq despite the drama. Post
>what you think is the most impressive speed run
>which speed run is the most fun to watch purely because of the run, no commentary/runner personality bullshit
Also
>those fucking retards that run jrpgs
Probably Cave Story if I had to choose. I'd try a Mega Man (classic or X) game but most of them have some weird-ass zips or ridiculous execution.
It makes them faggots
Super Monkey Ball is the best to watch hands down
Short levels plus cool looking strats
I thought about speed running resident evil 4 and then i saw the gayass way you had to play it and went back to my own type or autism wherer i use the least amount of ammo possible abusing kicks, etc.
I did an AM2R Speedrun. Nothing super competitive, just getting under 1 hour 30 minutes.
Hotline Miami 1 or 2
Childhood is practicing speedruns
Adulthood is going for high score
it's there she is
the purest thing currently on the internet
It's been forever since I last saw that animation.
there's a part 6 coming out one day
>Ocarina of Time Glitchless 100% speedrun
I would never speedrun any game. If I wanted to be competitive I would pick up a FPS, RTS, Moba or a Fighting game.
Speedrunners literally just want to feel like they accomplished something by getting a record in a no pressure environment where they "compete" with only like 10 people without directly going against anyone.
With such a small pool the most talentless player can feel like they did something meaningful.
Not a big surprise that people with this mental illness/cowardice are often transexual as well.
>no one's mentioned it
I pity you all
this takes me back
I've "speedran" a few games but never to actually compete with people or get a world record.
When I was a kid I had a limit of one hour to play video games per day. You get real good at going fast when the only way you'll see the endscreen is if you do it in 60 minutes or less.
>Glitchless 100%
Umihara Kawase or Super Cloudbuilt. Both already encourage you to clear levels faster, both have built-in leaderboards, both have very deep movement mechanics that are fun to get good at and more importantly both are very short. Nothing more frustrating than hour long runs. I'd rather just play a racing game though.
Daggerfall, no fast travel
Scribblenauts Unlimited, mostly because I know it like the back of my hand.
I tried that and it got very unfun very quickly with all that frame perfect bullshit you have to pull and the jankiness of the physics
resident evil 2 on rookie mode
im down to 9 hours and 16 saves
I'm a little interested in Star Fox 64 high score runs. I could also speedrun F-Zero GX or Pokemon Puzzle League because they're both games I've played a lot and the speedrun strategies are natural extensions of the normal gameplay, but those are both very hard games. Not interested in speedrunning platformers or FPSs or anything like that.
What kind of ugly dog is this>?
Life
I knew that, I meant the actual crop, but whatever
Probably one like Super Metroid or Mario 64, where its mostly about movement and not as heavy on glitches.
a racing game
why would I associate myself with tranny hobby
not this. if you love games, you will find out every thing about them. Then plow through it like a toothless whore.
Otters are cute
Uh no I'll go play other fun games that I haven't experienced yet instead of finding out which frame lets Mario do a 2 second timesave on that ledge I've already climbed up multiple times before.
it's not porn if that's what you are wondering
I didn't think it was porn, I just hoped you had a cute pic of these two on hand, thank you
SM64 because it seems the most fun
