Seasons or Ages?
Seasons or Ages?
Ages had better puzzles iirc, plus Nayru > Din
The objective optimal order is ages and then seasons, because ages is more puzzle focused while seasons is more combat focused, yet you can't acquire the majority of combat enhancing items unless you do a linked game using the password obtained from having completed a game already, so therefore its best to beat ages first to get its password then use that password to get the level 3 combat gear in seasons to even the odds
Or you could not be a scrub and beat seasons with weaker gear and then do ages regularly.
Then it would make ages so piss easy you'd quit before finishing because it was so damn boring
I think Seasons should be played first and then Ages with a Linked game. Ages is the way better game pound for pound but Seasons is still good and the bonuaes for linked play are dope.
I enjoyed both. I replayed Ages more when I was a kid though.
I liked them both, though I like Seasons more.
Ages for me
Forced to choose, Ages. It's the harder more interesting game. Seasons focuses more on combat and exploration in a game that really has very basic combat and exploration.
But the real answer is both.
Ages. Seasons got boring halfway through.
The true order is seasons -> ages so you don't get locked out of exploring an overworld tile.
The only correct answer is this
Ages.
Time leaping is a much more interesting concept than seasonal changing.
Wrong.
This. If you care about filling in the whole map then Seasons -> Ages is the way to go.
I personally mostly prefer Ages though. I like the dungeons more (but Jabu Jabu's Belly can fuck off).
Veran, Veran defeated Stan!
No not Duran Duran, Veran Veran!
The Overworld of Seasons shits so much on Labrynna it's not funny. But the mother of all excuse plots.
It's sort of a shame that by focusing on different things they feel like two halves to a whole game.
Oracle of both is the only correct choice.
Both of them have that god awful mandatory dancing minigame but Seasons has less of it, so I guess Seasons.
People who haven't played Ages in years will say Ages, but the correct answer is Seasons.
Ages
Wait. I meant Seasons.
Seasons was ten times better than ages easily
Better dungeons, better story, mechanics were far better, story was better, and the final boss dude was fuckin cool
>better story
Woah woah lets not go crazy here
On recent Linked game replay on 3ds I'd say Seasons is my favourite.
I bought both on launch, and I have to say I enjoyed Ages the most
Also, I can't play them without hearing the entirety of the Discovery album, which I bought that same day and listened to while playing both games.
Ages
This user got it right
Ages is superior. The dungeons are better and the overworld design is more interesting. Seasons is very much the LoZ remake it was designed to be, and that's fine, but Ages is more like LttP, and there's no question which is the better game. LoZ did some incredible foundation work that Nintendo recently drew on for BotW, showcasing exactly the design paradigms needed to properly add vitality to the open world genre, but LttP was just pure distilled "solid".
Seasons.
Ages had much more tedious shit in it
>Crescent Island
>Rolling Ridge
>Jabu-Jabu's Belly
I'd also say Mermaid's Cave, but it gets forgiven because the idea was cool even if the backtracking was not.
Always preferred Seasons
love both though
Ages was my first and has a bit of a sentimental nostalgic thing for me. Season is just the better version overall though.
I liked Seasons more but if I'm doing a full play of both with passwords etc I'm starting Ages which can be fucking devious with some puzzles fuck you cloud boss and retard lizard island its still pretty fucking cool. Seasons is just comfy af and really cool and fun to play with all the bonus content. If you got pretty ricky you a bitch, Moosh is an acquired taste, and Demetri is patrician choice.
Can you link GBC games if you play them on two GBAs?
