Finding it, though, that's not the hard part.
It's letting go.

Dead Money was the worst DLC for New Vegas.

great song
one of the best stories though in my opinion.
of what
>that one bug they never fixed which prevented you from hearing this track on the radio
new vegas is terrible and the only people who enjoyed it are underage
Only thing I let go of is my inhibitions as I `tgm and run out with all the gold.
>find gold
>can't carry all that shit
>save game
>quit to desktop
>install weight limit remover mod
>load game back up
>???
>profit
The pleb filter of NW dlc.
Na, HH was the shittiest. After the first time, everytime I go through it I just wished it would be over faster.
both of these. i loved dead money as a narrative experience, but hated the actual gameplay
>install weight limit remover
just player.setav carryweight 9000
Cheating to get the gold is retarded.
If you’re going to cheat just cheat in 1m caps
I got the gold legit with 7 turbos and carried it back to the strip at walking speed, like a real man.
>ha ha we will remove all of your weapons, feel the pain!
>go in with materials to make a deathclaw gauntlet
>make the deathclaw gauntlet immediately
>fuck the everloving shit out of everything in the DLC
Good times. Best DLC.
honestly, my first run through the DLC was great. the second time, i liked it a little less. after that, i started cutting them out one by one where i don't even do them anymore. anyway, lonesome road was the worst followed by honest hearts.
I like how the dialogue itself had such an impact, the choices you made had impact, dog vs god, not bartering with dean etc.
I've gotten it sans cheating a few times when I was a console pleb, just drop them though the barrier near the door ran out and then left that way.
Didn't walk back fuck that, strong backed that shit to the gate at least.
I understand why people hate it, but it's my favorite DLC and among my favorite content in any Fallout in general. Dean Domino is great and I have a soft spot for mute girls.
I get why people cheat this but seriously it completely misses the narrative mark if you do, if you go fucking full greed mode than you are supposed to be killed by that greed.
Cheating to steal all the gold legitimately pisses me off more than using player.additem f 99999
>that's not the hard part.
>It's letting go.
Yeah, because not letting go and taking everything is so fucking easy that it is harder to overcome the temptation.
All this complaint about the gameplay
Fucking pussy cowards fuck you you rufifjkf
I never cheated to get the gold though. I didn’t everything by the rules of the game.
>Cheating to steal all the gold legitimately pisses me off more than using player.additem f 99999
Thats your autism then, both is equally cheated.
Didn't the change the broken stairs in a patch so you couldn't get out encumbered?
Mostly I was talking to the anons that were talking about the weight limit removers and console commands.
They are both cheating but one screws with the game in a narrative sense and the other just adds masses of common currency, caps are not special or rare or have any value beyond what you can buy with them, it's just money. The gold though is supposed to be about "letting go".
Am I the only one that took a single bar of gold as a memento and left the others in the vault?
What was the best DLC and why was it all of them? They're all legitimately great and New Vegas with the DLC is unironically the best RPG of the last decade.
I do that on new playthroughs. The first time I tried to take all the gold and walk out however I quickly realized I didn't have enough time to get out AND live so I dropped enough to run away.
>honest hearts
>good
Nope.jpg.avi.mp4
Not him, but most of the time I just snuck out with a stealthboy while Elijah checked the terminal outside the vault. Granted the timing had to be perfect or he would spot you, so not sure if it was some sort of scripting bug.
People talk about using gibs of Elijah but when I tried it I couldn't grab and drag any piece of him.
>not liking honest hearts
>not liking .45 pistols
>not pistol whipping filthy tribals with Joshua Graham
>not liking the Burned Man
>not liking beautiful Zion
what are you, a profligate?
I take as much as my carry weight allows without me getting encumbered.
It's a good thing murdering everyone in it and walking out of it is a legitimate way of ending the DLC ASAP, because it feels like the only satisfying choice for that piece of retarded existence.
One of my favorite things about New Vegas was the playing cards they made for the special edition. It's a really nice touch that probably wasn't remotely necessary, but I enjoy the way characters reflect their personalities or aspects in the story based on aspects of the cards.
If New Vegas was a book, it would be regarded as high literature. Prove me wrong.
Prove yourself right first.
