Games sell consoles, not hardware. Two of the best games this gen (arguably the best) were BOTW and Mario Odyssey, both of which were released on tablet tier hardware. People don’t care about 4K, they want good games.

I can see it’s merit in some regard, the 4k gaming is nice, but it’s very niche and not a lot of games even support full 4k.

I bought one on an impulse in November because I really wanted to play Halo again, which I hadn’t since like 2011. So I played through all of the MCC, AC:O and GOW4. It was fun, but now my xbox is just collecting dust. I already have a PC and PS4 and there’s not really any exclusives that interest me on xbox besides Halo, and there’s only so many times you can play the same game without getting bored.

If it were my only console it would be great, but since I mainly play strategy games, tactical FPS games and weeb games, there’s not a huge catalog on XB1 that interests me.

Hopefully Halo 6 is an exclusive otherwise the one x will be a 500 euro paperweight.

Well I have a PC and a PS4, and I never use my PS4 because I don't like any of the games I can play on that that I can't play on my PC instead, which is obviously better in all aspects. Have you played Sunset Overdrive? I'm assuming not because the game didn't sell very well. It's a hidden gem on the Xbox One and the most underrated game of this gen. Believe me, it's a great reason to turn on your Xbox if exclusives is what you are seeking. I also recommend going for ReCore after, another good game that is really underrated, you will find the Definitive Edition very cheap, i'm sure of that.

Otherwise just wait for E3, i bet MS have new games to show since Crackdown 3, Sea of Thieves and State of Decay 2 are all launching this year.
