This is what bugs me the most.
The game is supposed to be an open world game online focus game, and servers went live on Tuesday that's why it didn't have any early reviews.
Hard to believe that after 2 days people are throwing out reviews for it.

It's a pretty good time if your crew is full of cool people.
Other than that:

>you're just kinda put in the game with no real goal

Its selling better than the Pro and as someone that went from the Base Xbone to the X, the difference is night and day.
The PS5 isn't coming out anytime soon since Sony went full retard with the Pro. It would be suicide to release another upgrade after only 2 years

well, the Pro is a lot cheaper than the X too
the differences aren't that noticable either. It's usually something like "if it runs 1600p 30 fps on the X then it runs 1440p 30 fps on the pro"

The problem with the pro is it’s build quality it’s noisy and runs hot I will wait for a pro slim to iron out some of those issues.

You can try it for free for 2 weeks and even play for a month for 10$ afterwards and actually have some fun during the release hype. The game will be dead after a month anyway but unlike other shit like For Honor you don't have to pay full price to enjoy it before hypebuyers jump on the next game.

I disagree the ps2 and ps3 are well designed and dissipated heat while creating minimal noise the ps4 slim the quietest ps4 model still makes a lot of noise when those fans kick in.

The problem is that there's so little content that you repeatedly grind for cosmetics with no additional benefits until you hit max rep, which doesn't even take that long. I played using the free game pass for a few hours yesterday and got all the factions above rank 10 just from a few quests, there's very little to do and no reason to do it.

But the standard Xbox plays halo 5 at a smooth 60fps, meanwhile the ps4 pro can't even keep bloodborne at a stable 30 so :/

He's not wrong. A shit team will have a much harder time making a game that runs well than a good team using the same hardware. There's a lot of other factors as well like the willingnessof the publisher to pay for higher performance patches after the new console comes out, the skill of the dev team, the limitations of the engine and hardware, etc. It's a complex formula with arbitrary limits.

Generally speaking though, X1X>PS4P>PS4>X1, in terms of objective hardware quality

I'm glad I got a chance to play the invite-only closed beta test early so I could see just how shit the game really was. there's no risk or reward for pvp, adventuring gets stale, and there's no fucking reason to play by yourself unless you want to roll around pretending to be a pirate & roleplaying getting ganked by superior pirate vessels or occasionally getting lucky with a fight and winning a 1v4 only to be demolished when all 4 spawn right back on the ship you just took over from them

An even better investment is to wait a couple months for it to hit gwg and by then theyll hopefully be something to do. Good thing the only thing to grind in the game is different colored pants.

You've seen everything the game has to offer in about 2 hours. Writing a review takes probably longer than finishing this game

It absolutely is true. Tflops are a horrible way to compare consoles. On top of that if you play any Bethesda games you get mods on xbone at least. And crossplay if that’s your thing plus play anywhere. There’s not any good reasons to buy multi plats on ps4

It really is. I really enjoy my xbone x, and exclusives look great. I also like how tiny it is for packing in my overhead bag since I travel for work. External Hdd support is also a big plus to the xbone. And it has really good video decoding support. The xbone had a bad launch but there’s a lot of huge plus’ to it now. Saying there’s not is kind of retarded
