What's a easy First Zelda game?

Trying to get into it, I'm pretty sure my boyfriend owns literally all the game that has ever come out. I'm not terrible at vidya games but I also don't wanna spend 45 minutes trying to fight one boss. Ideas?

niether are real challenging and both feature all of the typical elements of a zelda game

Zelda games aren't generally super difficult unless you go way back (or play breath of the wild, it'll shit on you during the first couple of hours). I recommend Ocarina of Time or Link to the Past, both are two of the best zelda games out right now, especially OOT, which has a pretty decent difficulty curve and good length. Barring that, Twilight Princess is pretty good, with some unfortunate drawn-out segments playing as dog link.

Wind Waker

All zelda games except Zelda 1 and 2 are easy.
Twilight Princess and Skyward Sword have an enormous amount of unnecessary cutscenes.
A Link To The Past, Link's Awakening are fun. Both good as an intro, ALTTP in particular.
Ocarina hasn't aged very well but it's the most famous and it isn't bad. A bit boring and samey if you don't get grabbed by the atmosphere.
Wind Waker is amazing with boring parts, very big open world to explore.

A Link to the Past or Ocarina of Time.

Honestly this too. Wind waker is simple and fun. Sailing can get old, though, especially triforce shards quest on GC version.

They're are perfectly accessible. Wind Waker the most so. A Link to the Past, Ocarina of Time and Breath of the Wild should also be considered as de facto best games in the series.

Only way you can make a Zelda game hard is by going for a 3 hearts challenge, other than that they're baby mode

Ocarina of Time is pretty much the base upon which every other 3D Zelda game builds upon, so if you just want the series distilled down to its core gameplay without too many extra bells and whistles, it's probably your best choice.

Many girls 1st Zelda is Phantom Hourglass funnily enough. A lot of girls got a DS with Nintendogs and later expanded into other games. Despite what Sup Forums says, its a great game.

Mosg 3D Zelda games aren't good. Just play ALttP and then BoTW because it's the only good 3D Zelda. I'm serious, by the way.
