Nintendo have already officially stated that there will be no new model for 2018. And if this new model was to launch 2019, then it's a little early to hear the details about it now.
At the same time however we know that they're swapping out the boards of the regular switches for boards without the hardware exploits that the original has. And that will happen soon and not 2019. But that will be a silent revision. It will be no new version with different specs or anything. It will just be the same regular version except without the same hardware exploits making it harder to hack.
All these "rumors" about new RAM and specs and whatnot are in direct contradiction to Nintendo's official word of not doing any such thing for 2018 and instead focusing on peripherals. Yet these rumors persist.
