Never had problems with it. 3 was worse and wouldn't even start without a bunch of patches. It even has a warning notice on it's steam page warning people that i doesn't work with windows 7/8/10.

Considering that most games that get the "buggy but popular" label are popular because they're fun and their narratives/stories work despite the poor gameplay, I don't get why you'd even try playing the game if Gameplay is such a large point for you.

I've played the PS3 version the most and besides freezes, the only bugs I've ever encountered are the one at Vault 22 where it's unfinishable if you break the proper sequence and the one for the NCR where you have to find the mole.

Yes but not game breaking ones like 3 had. 100 hours unmodded and it crashed like twice for me. Also its made with bethesdas gamebyro engine, every game on it is buggy as shit. 3 is literally unplayable without patches on modern systems.
