So I got the blu-ray for the Anniversary Orchestra, I wish I knew Japanese because there's a ton of talking from Kumazaki, all the composers (even new girl Ohara), Ohmoto (her favorite character is MK, I gathered that much).
Also its hard to tell since its from the camera, but I'm pretty sure the footage they had on the projector was upscaled, so 3DS games at a higher res, as well as uncompressed SSU cutscenes. At the very least the video does directly shows off the Sectonia render used in the mini-drama

King Dedede is my favorite but my seventh favorite is Adeleine. Putting one human character, with the way she was designed and implemented, in the Kirby setting was brilliant. Making it an unassuming child with nothing apparently remarkable about her makes her a very subdued character, but at the same time being so blatantly different gives her a fair bit of uniqueness and contrast. In some ways she's a conceptual opposite to Meta Knight, but their points of appeal can parallel each other as well.
Adeleine is not a Dream Lander, but her cheery demeanor and simple, pleasant personality line up with the other inhabitants of the setting. She is inherently different, as is her gentle nature, yet she fits in as one of Kirby's friends for her simple, pleasant characterization. Adeleine looks like she's an ordinary person with ordinary painting tools, but the magic of a child's imagination can bring her creations to life. That's very charming, and giving her more special looking equipment would hurt her appeal. She's any normal child, imaginative, sensitive, optimistic, but she's the only one in this dream land, like a child sleeping in their own dream land.
Meta Knight also has a sharp contrast to the rest of the setting, not for WHAT he is, but for what he chooses to be. His apparent edginess and serious, cold personality set him apart from all the light, soft, sleepy Dream Landers. He belongs, yet is very different. Meta Knight looks like a character that takes himself very seriously, and possibly has a history to back it up. He adorns himself with magic equipment, most notably his magic cape, glowy eye mask, and master sword Galaxia. We don't know when or how he attained these, and we don't need to know. Although he looks like a severely miscolored Kirby under his mask, making him a more standard Blue Sword Kirby with regular looking equipment and fewer accessories would hurt his appeal.
