I enjoyed it. It is a silly fun movie that doesn't try to be huge.
I also like how the rock turned into the bad guy. He would expect someone as high profile as he is to be cast only as the hero in every movie.

I physically couldn't watch the last resident evil movie because of how much it jump cut. It never stayed on a single scene more than 2 seconds and everything was just constantly shaking

It made almost the same amount of money outside the states, they didn't give a shit about the demons. Most of the time the enemies, that are not 100% on the shadows, looks like the ones in the game. They don't look like zombies to me.

I agree. I think an Arnold led Doom movie would have worked. The original script for the movie was crazy with much more use of the chainsaw and other demons appearing like the Spiderdemon and the Cacodemon. The latter almost made it into the final movie but the effects budget ran out.

Sandy Petersen designed and named all the demons for Doom, 98% of the levels and gave the weapons their damage values. Hes a Christian and he's making a kickstarter board game where you fight demons.
