I keep seeing this game pop up in discussions lately. Is it actually good?

space children were a mistake
i tried it for a few hours and dropped it once the grind started becoming real.
Boring af
Surprisingly good but if you hate grinding you'll hate it. All there is to do is grind.
Mindless MMO tier grinding but the gameplay is fun
Being F2P is suffering
test
also fuck you Hiro, you fucking jew
What's the appeal of this game? I beat the tutorial and am left wondering if I should even bother going on.
I would say not all all. It had potential in the beginning but the developers ruined it by adding grind so hard that it would put most of those Korean MMOs to shame. There's also the fact that the developers are assholes to the players and have been called out on that multiple times and they didn't give a shit.
the entire game is a grind full of time gates and other dumb shit, but it's damn addicting. once you run into enough bugs, hopefully you'll snap out of it.
Even with my mates I can't have fun playing it.
Controlling your character feels great but every single enemy in the game is fucking trivial and every boss is essentially a turtle. Nothing comes remotely close to the player character in sheer combat prowess, and absolutely nothing proves any sort of threat to a party of 4.
At least that's what I got out of it. If you like mowing down shit that doesn't put up a fight, go for it. Nezha's pretty fun (and cute), would recommend her (male) if anything.
this
>grinding is everyone's issue
Wait wait wait, am I just not aware of some more fun content than what I've had so far? Grinding can be fine with me if it's a game where combat is fun and bosses are highly replayable, like Monster Hunter or PSO2. I just want an actual fight.
controller or kb+m?
It's sort of a grind addict paradise, except it's not. Even if you have all the time in the world to grind all day, not all content is available all the time, you may have to wait like 18 months just for some item to come back into the rotation, or painfully grind relics, to then run fissures to then have "a chance" to get a valuable item, and then sell those items to other players to get "platinum" the premium currency, and then hoard enough platinum to buy pieces which are not available in the rotation.
Also there's a fucking vendor that only shows up every 2 weeks, and he sells the best mods in the game, and guess what, he has a different stock everytime he shows up, so you'll be missing his super strong mods and weapons for another 12 months or so unless you.... grind relics, run fissures, sell shit loot for platinum and buy the item from other players...
And then you have special events, which last a few days and happen maybe once a year or 2 years... and you have to run them like 200 times in 3 days for a chance to get the full item, or.... you can farm relics, to run fissures, to get crap items and sell to other players for platinum so you can buy the item from other players.....
You see where I'm going right? obviously you can skip all of this buy buying platinum straight from the store and buying that shit from other players. Oh and also you can no longer get some items because they were founder/beta rewards/special packs etc, so you'll never have a perfect account anymore.
sometimes you go without an MMORPG for a long time, and you get that itch to grind something and see numbers climb
Warframe is the game for people looking to scratch the itch
Remember, fashionframe is the true endgame
It has that feeling of Tribes: Ascend before it went to shit. Putting on some music, relaxing and plow through a ship of clones feels good.
Your favorite frame is shit for most if not all mission types. There are like, five meta frames, period.
Same with guns.
No endgame; once you level a meta frame and a meta primary to 30, potato them both, and level your mods to a decent point, then you can tackle most void missions and pretty much the whole game map. Imagine if you could get strong enough to finish every major quest line in WoW in just one session, and all gameplay after that is just leveling more gear so you have a wider variety of stuff to play with. That's Warframe.
Have you completed the star chart yet? Have you ever done 60 min surv?
It's a free game with a ton of content with constant updates and pretty decent gameplay. The grind is the only thing that annoys me, but most of the time that can be subverted by having decent luck when it comes to finding mods/prime parts you don't need and trading them for plat. I dislike the trend towards the bigass empty open world maps they're working on, but parts of the Venus map they've shown art for looks neat and at least the Teralyst stuff is better than raids used to be.
Except, you level more gear, and just discard it, because fuck paying for weapon slots, so you're just leveling mindlessly for mastery rank, and even if you buy a bunch of weapon slots, no one potatoes + formas all their weapons, because fuck paying for more potatoes and formas. I mean they're not prohibtly expensive, but as you said there's a few meta weapons, so you're not really going to use shitty weapons, and you're not going to waste resources upgrading shitty weapons that you aren't even going to use, so you just discard them to make room for more shitty weapons to raise your rank.
SPACE MOM ROBOT PUSSY
>discard it
Trade for plat :^) Grind all week and you'll have enough for 5% of the guns in the game!
A free game with nice movement and weapons but with rather hollow maps and enemies. It's also got mobile garbage monetisation.
I wish the Teralyst wasn't such a bitch to farm without Lanka-memeing. Still beats the old system of getting arcanes, though.
It does some neat stuff but overall no
Worth playing for maybe 10 hours, then you'll have seen basically everything meaningful the game has to offer.
