Where are you in XC2? I can vouch that the game's story's got some cool shit coming that may sell you.
I just got the pedophile robot turned on for the fat furry
yeah okay some good shit's coming up real soon
I'd say give the game till the end of chapter 3 if you're still unsure
I just got one of these with Bayonetta and I'm waiting for my next paycheck to get BotW and Xeno2. Can I get some game recommendations. Just for clearance, I don't like Mario and Smash doesn't interest me, but anything else I'd be game for.
I was foolish enough to buy the Ultra Street Fighter 2 Switch edition instead of waiting for the Street Fighter Collection. Also very excited for Dark Souls, never played any of those games so it'll be a new experience for me.
245 hours in Splatoon 2 for me so far

Sleepy, should have gone to bed an hour and a half ago but I keep refreshing the catalog one last time.
The one I recommend to anyone who likes platformers of any kind is The End is Nigh. I honestly think the Switch port is even better than the PC version. But if you don't like platformers, Disgaea is a safe bet for anyone that's a fan of Xenoblade 2. Wonder Boy the Dragon's Trap is also excellent.
Nothing for about a week. I had never tried for probably 8 months, but it turns out my switch doesn't work with the dock. Simply freezes up in that mode, so I'm taking advantage of manufacturers' warranty and getting it fixed.
>PLAYAN
Almost nothing, don't have the feelings to finish Zelda or Mario, only been playing mk8d when I go to the toilet or Splatoon 2 when I don't have much time and want to play some competitive game. Also, just got bayo 1+2 and I'm playing it during my free time in college.

Tired. Tired of being unemployed one year after I got my college degree, but also tired because I'm a child who dozes off after midnight. Still going to chug some caffeine and join my friend's Salmon Run lobby
I wasn't willing to drop $60 on SF2. Zelda was enough to satisfy me for the first few months. Now that we got Third Strike coming to the Switch, however, everything else just feels like welcome additions.
Didn't realize Chrono Trigger got a Switch port, maybe I'll try it out
I've heard nothing but positive stuff about Darkest Dungeon from Sup Forums so far, so I'm very excited for it.
That's a shame, but at least you can get it fixed for free.
That's a shame, Zelda and Mario have some great end-game stuff to offer. But I understand feeling too apathetic or down to finish them, I went through a period for a few years where I was so downcast I didn't want to play any video games at all.
get real with that legacy collection though, Capcom is gonna jew us and split up the Mega Man X games in 2, which means that the Legacy Collection 2 will have all the worst Mega Man X games and only one of the good games.

I've been fine just with the controller grip for joy-cons.
k see ya later then
I was in a Sup Forums lobby last week with a guy who had over 800 hours in ARMS, I hadn't played the game in months so he kicked my ass every way since Sunday. But it got me really invested in trying to git gud at ARMS. I also learned that fakeout Rush into grab is no longer used competitively because everyone sees it coming.

How do I motivate myself to get the last 200 or so moons in Odyssey? I've cleared all of my absolute favorite kingdoms at this point, all that's left are shitty ones like Wooded Kingdom and Lake Kingdom and the fucking moon. I gotta get this done because I've 100%ed every 3D Mario aside from Sunshine.
I've got Disgaea on PS4 so I don't want to pay for it again but I'll look into the other ones.
I was also curious about Battle Chef Brigade but I don't know what to think of it based on the reviews. I might just get it down the line or on a sale.

Just got my switch in February and I don't know what games I should get for it.
So far, I've got Shovel Knight, Stardew Valley, Minecraft, Splatoon 2, BotW and Mario Kart. I'm hesitant of buying Mario Odyssey, the price is pretty big and I haven't played a Mario game since 64.
Little help?
>I wasn't willing to drop $60 on SF2
You made the right choice
feeling tired seems to be a common theme
I never really understood the appeal of Kirby, I'll admit. Where's the fun in the game if he's so OP that he can just breeze through everything?
I wish they'd just give the release date for the Switch edition of Hollow Knight already, it's a very anticipated game for me.
The Pro controller is a must despite being overpriced by about $20. Standard is fine for Splatoon 2. Gyro is a must if you want to get to S+, but fortunately the standard has gyro, so it's all good.
Odyssey is a must have for the switch imo. One of the more enjoyable mario games I've played in quite a while.
kirby isn't about challenge first of all (unless it's true arena), it's about the variety of copy abilities, level design, puzzles, collectibles, atmosphere, music, and comfiness. it's a game you play to unwind and enjoy yourself with.

What this user said, put on your favorite music, or something mind-numbing as background noise so that you can focus. If you want you can also get a list of where all the moons are on the internet so you don't have to search for all of them.
Xenoblade 2 doesn't really have much in common with Xenoblade 1 story-wise (until right at the very end) so there's no problem if you're new to the series.
>Something that will last you
Disgaea 5 if you like JRPGs. Few games are as much of a timesink as Disgaea.
Mario Odyssey is worth the price point, if you liked 64 you'll probably like Odyssey
Said it before ITT but get The End is Nigh. It's one of the best games available on the Switch right now, which I think is high praise considering all the games that came out for it last year.
I havent udpated to 5.0 and Im not sure if i should

Post-game depression. Kind of sad that it's over.
Something like that. Or just that social media is addictive as shit cuz once you do know people, it kinda feels like an obligation to try and keep up with all their shit and whatever stupid shit is happening in the world. I'm kinda done with a lot of that though, I just wanna play video games.
But what if I really like Xenoblade 2 and want to go back and play the first one? Won't it dampen my experience as I'll be missing all of the QoL improvements of the sequel? I know I'm a weirdo.
How is Attack on Titan on the Switch?
I did try out the Star Allies demo since it was free, I liked the mechanics, the comfy feel, and the puzzles, like you said in your other post, but the mechanic of gaining allies that fight with you feels worthless when all the enemies in the game are a complete joke except maybe for King Dedede, which was a pretty fun boss fight, though still pretty easy.
thank yew. Might try out Mulaka
I've been playing AoT2 and it is kinda fun, but I'm grown accustomed to more polish on my games than this. Plus, it can be a slog to play through sometimes. Anyone else playing it? What are your thoughts on the game?
If I sell it, should I wait until Amazon stops its prime discount, so I can sell a bit more competitively?
Pretty fun. It's like a spiderman game with an actual good combat system.
It runs pretty well on switch and the gimmick never gets old to me. I even tried multiplayer and had fun.
The social link stuff is also a fun addition.
How does X2 measure up in the JRPG genre? I'm really intrigued by it but want to make sure I'm not just doing it for the waifus.

Eh. Mediocre. Not sure how to break up with gf but ayy
I thought Mulaka was an action adventure game like Zelda or Okami. It's actually a 3D platformer like Psychonauts?
Feeling like a retard cause I got the pro controller which feels amazing but it's got horrific input lag. I don't know if it's because I'm using it wireless but I can't check because I don't have a monitor and I've just been playing portable mode so I can't actually use it plugged in. I would use my Fastsnail dock to test it out but lolbrick.
The allies system pretty much just lets you store a bunch of powers to get into hidden areas and force you to mix abilities for some puzzles but later boss fights do feel like they'd be really fun in multiplayer. I've been playing solo but I feel like the boss fights get just frantic enough to make it seem like everybody would be contributing in some way. The bosses are consistently good imo, but if you don't normally like Kirby I don't see it converting you into a fan.

Golf Story is a very solid story-based game if you like golf games at all.
>Post-game depression
Had that feel when I beat Super Mario Galaxy. I kept going back and replaying it even though I'd already done all there was to do.
Maybe my distaste for the boredom of keeping up with everyone else's stupid shit is why never made any friends.
Well if you're autistic enough to buy a Wii, buy Xeno 1, and play through the whole game before buying Xeno 2, then go for it. But you're really not missing anything, I never played Xeno 1 and I've been really enjoying Xeno 2, I never felt lost or anything. Sup Forums spoilered me to the plot of Xeno 1.
It definitely has a very strong emphasis on action but I would say its more of a platformer than an action game. The meat of the game is exploring and finding collectibles in the levels.
Replaying it doesn't fill the void either. You know you've done all there is to do. You're well aware of that. Also doesn't help that I'm stressing about all sorts of shit like school, one of my family members in the household having to file for bankruptcy, etc. I need a comfy game like Kirby to escape.

Fucking Tetris effect man, I'll play for 20 minutes before class and my brain just gets stuck on Tetris or Puyo mode for the rest of the day. It got really bad once I started having dreams about it and spacing out thinking about chains and combos in the middle of lectures. It's this pic but all day long and incredibly distressing.
>Golf Story
Thanks, checked it out and I like how animated the backgrounds and shit are and 15 bucks sounds perfect.
>input lag?
Yeah it's good sometimes but other times I'll be mashing a button in a menu before it decides to acknowledge all my inputs at the same time. I'd like to know if it's just interference or the controller is fucked so I can get it replaced but again, I can't check.
What game did you have that issue in?
Bought it for BOTW but it's not what I expected. Was going to import MonHun XX but apparently there's no english patch and I can't moon rune. Any good recs? I have Odyssey which was pretty fun and usually play indie shit on pc because muh fps and resolution.
that was just an assumption, i haven't beat the game yet due to college work, but usually kirby games run by a 6 world 7 level design so if that's still true in star allies its around the high thirties
>don't forget, we're all here for you user
Thanks user. I know it'll pass eventually, but she seemed really cool and I miss seeing her.
What kinds of games do you like?
Splatoon and Puyo Puyo Tetris are the only ones I've played it on but it was really noticeable while I was scrolling through the equipment menus in Splatoon.
my switch arrived yesterday
I'm not in the know on NIntendo but is it possible that they will release Twilight Princess on the Switch.
enjoy user, get dmc hd if you like bayonetta
I think I've had the Splatoon equipment menu lag a bit a few times when first opening it, but usually I can see it hasn't finished loading everything. Might just be interference. Do you have anything in the way between the controller and the Switch and are there any other wireless devices nearby?
I brought Mercenaries Saga Chronicles Tales Stories last week and it's just not any good, it's decent for what it aims to do but the story is too cliche and simple and the core mechanics and replayability and grind leave a lot to be desired, it just makes me wish that FF Tactics was released on Switch, or Fire Emblem.
I have my router next to my desk so maybe it's that, idk I know jack shit about this stuff. I'm playing Kirby with it right now and it's fine but it's not very consistent. It's such a fucking nice controller though, if it's screwed up I do want to get it replaced.
>>PLAYAN
Nothing because the first half of the year is ports.
found this on twitter
That could be causing the interference. Best thing I can suggest is testing the stick calibration and button inputs there and then somewhere else. If it still has issues, replace it. If the replacement also has issues, then you'll have to move something.
I'm in an ARMS Discord and practically fucking everyone has a few hundred hours in the game.
