there are 27 unique weapons bucko, almost all with two unique forms, and most with around 15 uniquely-animated attacks (each with their own properties) per form

he's partially right. one of the bad things in Bloodborne, Dark Souls, Demons Souls is that R2 is a very rare situational attack.
Specially in Bloodborne is worse that although a weapon has 2 forms, the other form is mostly useless.
