What is project exactly? A remake or a sequel? The original was a fun little watch when I was a preteen who liked Sonic and DBZ because it was basically your average DBZ movie with Sonic characters animated in Flash.

I follow lucha libre and there's a few instances of luchadors marrying Japanese women going back a while (there's a woman that's wrestled in both Japan and Mexico that's the daughter of a semi-famous luchador and a Japanese woman). I've also seen multiple instances of Japanese women in Mexican TV, even using Japanese as opposed to Spanish.
It helps that apparently the Mexican DBZ/Super dub has a bunch of top voice talent from the region and has stayed as consistent as the Japanese/English voices have. Seeing shit like Toei threatening to sue ALL OF MEXICO if they stream Super episode 130 and Mexico basically telling them to fuck off by taking the day off work and streaming it anyway to huge crowds makes me appreciate just how much Mexico as a culture loves Dragonball.

Now, I'm pretty biased against anime, but very few I've seen go as low as the one that has a writer who drops vague outlines for a team of writers, who then have to scramble together and form an actual story from it, with each episode contradicting the last one due to lack of coordination, resulting in this disjointed mess where not even fights are fun to watch. I feel bad for Tate putting so much effort into this mess.
