Warioware: Twisted

VR Games are the only type of game that should have motion controls

Resident Evil 4
Resident Evil 5
Resident Evil Revelations 2
Red Steel 2

Zangeki no Reginleiv

I know you're using a mario version just to mock the idea, but Odyssey genuinely has good-feeling motion controls. I ended up preferring to flick the right joycon instead of hitting the button to throw the hat. Once you get used to the up throw and down throw motions they also become easy to do, but you do have to practice it a bit first.

Wario Land Wii
Wario Ware
Sin and Punishment 2
Metroid Prime Trilogy
No more heroes

Unironically BotW. Gyro aiming is kino.
The motion controls were too forced for me in Odyssey.
>spazz out autistically to climb a pole in a reasonable amount of time
Yeesh.

Metroid prime trilogy still has the most precise aiming in any console first person game to date

Pikmin

I definitely agree with you on BOTW. That and Splatoon have both shown that gyro aiming is probably the second best way to aim, short of kb+m.

Some of the places where Mario has you using it is kind of weird, I will admit. But I'm just talking about the moment to moment gameplay use of it.

Wii Sports

breath of the wild

splatoon

Too bad I can only play it for so long before my arm gets tired.

literally no
Fuck waggle

Ridiculous Fishing

My nigger, that's one of my favourite games

The Gyro sensor in the cartridge has a surprising amount of sensitivity.

splatoon 2 has superb motion controllers.

>No more heroes
Definetely no, only thing you did was basically jerk off the wiimote to recharge it.

Ihmo a lot of stuff on the Wii, never had any problems with the wimmote without the plus which I had never felt the urge to buy, any game that had aiming was already better for the gyro aiming.

on games compeletly based on gyro, I would say in recent times ARMS. unless you go for super fast builds(ex. mechanica with slapamander and fire hammer) its a lot, lot better than regular controls as it gives more control on youir punches and your movement.
