It's also a different Bandana Waddle Dee every time, the bandana gets passed down from generation to generation. A bloodline that unfortunately couldn't be continued some point before Star Allies. The Dream Rod is Kirby's way of using his infinite power to resurrect long dead allies like Bandana Waddle Dee, Rick, Coo, Kine, Gooey, and even former enemies that he wanted to be friends with like Marx.

You know I was kind of hoping Gooey would get to puff up and exhale air like Kirby (just because I love how silly he looks doing it) but I think I'm fine with his Love-Love powerup being a permanent addition to his skillset too, since Kirby still owns the Love-Love Stick. If a later game makes him a proper player-2 with ability copying and such, maybe he "Mock Matter" form could be an Air+Up+Attack transformation move, and he can spit out stars that are modified by certain abilities he can get, like a less broken version of the Friend Star in this game.

Why the FUCK does Meta Knight's mask still turn the skin around his eyes black? His skin is supposed to be blue. It only did that in old and outdated games because of technical limitations, they didn't have enough space to color in his blue skin since the gap was too small to make that look good.
