What exactly do people want or expect from Pokemon Switch? The same shit with better graphics? Comlpete revamp? Action gameplay? I haven't touched the series since Platinum and honestly the same shit with better graphics isn't going to bring me back.

>the same shit with better graphics isn't going to bring me back
what makes you think anyone wants you back?

Are you so miserable that being mean to people is all you have?

What people expect: Breath of the Wild with Pokemon
What it will be: Sun & Moon with marginably better graphics

AAA title
Open world
Only the 150 real pokemon
All regions can be visited
Turn based battles
No random encounter system

There were 151 pokemon originally.

Cancers like you need to be removed from this world

Soft reboot- maybe just original 150
Don’t include every single Pokémon to the detriment of the gameplay
CRPG style stats and traits
Have to actually look for specific Pokémon instead of wait for them to appear
More interactive environment so it feels more like being a wilderness explorer.

Well, that’s my entire wishlist. I can’t wait to get none of it.

A game with as much content as BW2/Emerald/SSHG

Turn based battles was the only good thing you said and it already exists

Not a lot
Just make it better
Thats all

>all regions
>only 150 pokemons

>open world
>turn based battles
Bahwbhabahabwhwwbwbwhwb this retard cunt

I hope they finally stop pandering to genwunners

You just described pokemon go fatso bitch go out and catch some pokemons

A more wild and untamed region instead of the cutesy, food-court aesthetic tourist traps of Black and White onward.

No more content =! Fun

I want way better graphics. 3ds to switch is a gigantic leap. I'd like if they took away random encounters and you just saw all the pokemon walking around, and also you battle in the overworld instead of transitioning to a different universe to battle, but that might all be asking for too much. Keep the old turn based battles. Over 100 new pokemon. And a bunch of changes to make 6 v 6 battles no longer broken and getting rid of stall by weakening all healing moves/abilities. Also a more difficult main game. I expect just the same old game with higher graphics.

To be honest, changing the formula would probably piss too many people off. I'm expecting more of the same, but hopefully they'll shake things up a bit like making the story a bit more dark/edgy, some meaningful battle changes, more open ended, etc.

Good time to leave. Series has been on a slow but steady decline since Gen 4, which we can all agree was the peak of the series, right? Anyways, Black and White were good, but generally just bland. B&w2 were slightly better but still just kind of boring. X&Y were good, I enjoyed them, best games since Gen 4. Past that I stopped playing but from what I hear it’s mostly negative. As to what people are expecting... I’ve got no idea, but I know people don’t want more of what Ultra S&M was. Chances are it goes back to the old formula, which is fine by me.

I dont expect anything other than a MHW ripoff

Main game its ok retard

weeaboo.

>only the original 150

Shit idea and shit taste
Also it's 151, fuckboi

“Real Pokémon” okay genwunner

We all know Gen 1 isn’t the best.

I've no idea what to expect.
The most obvious thing is gen8, but that would be predictable and nintendo is being anything but lately.
There's been some talk about a reboot, but gen1 has been remade/released/pandered to so much that I think some people would be seriously turned off by the idea.
I would to unless they massively changed it, and at that point it might as well just be a new game.

They don’t include all Pokémon, but they don’t improve the gameplay either
Stats and traits aren’t much of a thing
You don’t interact with the environment so much as pathetically pass through it.
Pokémon go doesn’t fill most of my criteria.

Pokemon is shit because:

>You're on-rails the entire game. You always have a big red flag showing you where to go, and you can't go anywhere else anyway because someones dusting for footprints
>You can always fall back on the same Pokemon you know are good. You never get to experiment and find out what works and what doesn't.
>Since starters are ALWAYS dual-type, they're always of some value. Fuck, you can go into a Rock gym with only your Fire starter and still sweep because he learns Bullet Punch or something.

Pokemon doesn't need to be BOTW, it just needs to add a difficulty option, limit old Pokes until the later stages, and have some optional areas.

But it won't, Pokemon is fully kiddy shit now and will be more genwun pandering.

Gen 8 but it’s Kanto in an alternate universe

>all regions
>only 150 pokemon

Attached: 1506130027400.jpg (1716x1440, 323K)

3d open world
Crono Trigger type battles
Friends could join your adventure seamlessly
All regions explorable or if only can be put in the game make it detailed
Give it more of a challenge, the last few games have been easy af

Can't think of anything else but they should go all in with pokemon switch

Honestly, that would be better than most of the pokemon game’s we’ve been getting lately.

>The same shit with better graphics?

Sure why not. Haven't played the game in a while so I miss the old stuff.

Which is fine.
Pokemon doesn't need to be open world.

Fuck this guy , though

As bad as it sounds an open world Pokémon will make me consider getting the Switch a lot more. I don't even care if it's in a completely new region it probably won't but it'll definitely be a departure from the handholdy top-down style of all the other games.

Make a battle frontier
Make the elite four hard again
Have online mix battling
Add something like the meeting plaza from platinum
Bring back battle video browsing
Make battles B/W level fast
Keep amie/refresh and bring back the minigames
Give us a good rival, at least a barry rival and not another, or worse, hau
Stop the gen 1 pandering
Bring bikes back
Improve the performance
Bring pokemon following back
Make ground animations for flying pokemon
Keep megastones/z-moves for post game
Add more post game
Bring back cross gen evolutions
Nerf fairies/buff ice, dark, or fighting
Give us some more minigames
Add 100+ pokemon this time

Any 3 of these will make me happy

Sure, why not.
s/m literally confirms that alternate universes/dimensions/realities/whatever is canon and confirms that the remakes take place in alternate versions.
ORAS post game was partly about preventing something destroying worlds in alternate dimensions too, or whatever.

In some ways pokemon has gotten real weird.

Is USUM worth it?

Did you play SM?

I know exactly what to expect, the fanboys to choke on gamefreak dick no matter how utter garbage they produce, how much of a jew they go and how shitty the designs and mechanics are or the games are. People is already decided to buy them, kids will buy them no matter what. they are all perfectly trained, so it is a perfect cash cow of dissapointment for anybody that is not an addict of the game freak jew aids filled cock.

Honestly as long as it isn't as streamlined as gen 8 then I'm fine.

I agree with a lot of this.
There is no incentive for me to catch a Krabby when I have Totodile as my starter.
The game really forces you to use the starter because they are some of the strongest Pokémon. This limits experimentation, and when you can just catch the legendary, why is there incentive to keep using the older Pokémon?
I would like to see something COMPLETELY different.

>>You can always fall back on the same Pokemon you know are good. You never get to experiment and find out what works and what doesn't.
Just use different pokemon

Action gameplay would make me so fucking hard

I've always loved Pokemon as a concept and enjoyed the cards/shows/spinoffs, but could never even bring myself to finish a mainline game. I've wanted an action Pokemon game since I was a kid and Pokken is the closest thing we have but it's not really a Pokemon game

Remove or improve all the garbage items, bad moves, and shit abilities bloating up the game.

>it just needs to add a difficulty option
It has two actually, the exp share and the set/shift option.
The problem is that the game gives you no incentive to turn off the exp share that they now force onto you at the beginning of the game or to use set option like in online matches which are always set.
You can always switch to something super effective when your opponent switches with shift making nearly all fights pushovers, even "bosses".
And the exp hare, not only is there no reason to turn it off except to make the game harder, it actively punishes you for not using it and not immediately filling out a team of six since it doesn't actually share exp, it just takes half of what your active mon gets and gives that to every non-active mon, effectively multiplying exp gain by 3.5x for a full team.
In ORAS you literally out level other trainers by around twenty levels thanks to the exp share.

Both of these things are absurd, it's just impossible to properly balance a game with these things on, of which the game gives you both and turned on by default.

Of course you can turn these things off yourself, but why would you?

Turning xp share off doesn't make things harder, it just makes it take longer while you stick around leveling your team individually.

No matter what I think, I know The Pokemon Company is a company that rarely likes to try new things and takes years for minor changes and shit to happen, but.

Open world
Gathering
crafting, medicine, traps, nets, bait, fishing poles, food/drink
non-lewd needs, sleep, etc
Not sure how this will happen or work well, but one joycon can control the pokemon, the other for the trainer. I remember Ash getting his shit kicked in by a stray attack or near hit
Keep pokemon levels low or come up with a new system to allow pokemon abilities to be used. To keep up the open world shtick. Like in BOTW going to the Gerudo area first was pretty fucking hard but doable to get by vs 'naturally' going to sheika town first
Minor cosmetic system, clothes in every town, etc

oh yeah i forgot togepi

no i just said i forgot togepi

i like this guys ideas, but only if they add tank controls

Just put the entire anime of Kanto in it.

They can launch an ICO for it, call it Poketokens, and they can keep 20% of it if they want to.

Ill take ultra sun and moon on citra

Orange Islands.

Micro bikini for the new hot loli.

Attached: z.png (582x810, 507K)

literally just Red and Blue but as an open world RPG with good graphics would make so much fucking money

I wouldn’t mind the same graphics rendered in 1080 desu.

I want a Pokémon with no top-down perspective, with more of a Zelda camera.
From there, everything else I want would be secondary.

Expect? Graphics that tank the framerate despite not being all that good. Silly gimmicks. People paying for Pokémon bank on top of their online subscription service.

I hope we get a Pokemon game that has multiplayer which you find & meet with your firends in the game and you can play online in servers with people across the world. Also the game has every region you can play in. This is my wish I longed to happen in years.

Medicrity. Skip the very first game that comes out on it.

>Full 3D version of the 2D games (no Pokemon Stadium gimmick bullshit) with camera control
>Turn-based battle system, no action RPG bullshit
>Battles occur right there in the world, no screen transition
>Nearby NPCs come to watch battles to create a feeling of excitement
>At least two full continents with 16 badges, Elite Four, and a champion
>Option to have one Pokemon follow you like Pikachu in yellow, but you get to choose which one
>Using HMs let you actually control the Pokemon to sail around in the water like in the Gameboy games, but you can also control Pokemon to fly now
>Team side plot (Team Rocket, Galaxy, etc., whatever)
>Maybe a sequence where you fly into some secret base or something
>Rival side plot
>Some other side plot, like shiny pokemon or ancient pokemon or some other pokemon-related lore
>Some sort of tower or colosseum to battle in
>Online battles with friends or with randoms, including tournament support
>~250 Pokemon (don't care what gen, I'm not a genwunner, can be a mix)
>Only one version
>Online trading (can be necessary to evolve certain Pokemon, but there should be only one version of the game)

Idk, the first actually decent switch game maybe?

It's not even to do with raw levels, Pokemon in-game battles are incredibly straightforward and the game very rarely challenges you. You can win almost every match by

>Put in a Pokemon without type-disadvantage
>Use your best attacking move

That's literally it. Oh, except most new Pokemon are dual-type so you don't even really need to worry about Step One. You even have unlimited heals and revives, something the enemy doesn't have.

The games never challenge you. They never require you to think about anything.

>It has two actually, the exp share

Nice meme. Shooting yourself in the foot arbitrarily doesn't count as a difficulty option.

This. Also a band-aid costume.

Pocket Monster Hunter

No Random Battles
Combat is still turn based but takes place on the field
Complex Ecosystems
Seasons
Day and Night cycle
Looking for rare Pokemon isn't a matter of going into a patch of grass hoping for a chance encounter. Very specific requirements for certain pokemon to appear like the time of day, climate and temperature, weather, lures and baits, traps, music, stealth and camouflage.
Pokemon moves that are usable outside of battle take up separate slots from combat moves
A new capturing system that isn't pure RNG
Large expanses of wilderness in between towns
Focus on outdoor survival (camping, resource gathering, cooking etc)
Spelunking
Varied terrain and environments
Cartoony artstyle with stylized but semi realistic environments
60fps

I remember playing MGS3 and every inch of the map was teeming with wildlife. The forests felt "alive" and I want Pokemon to be like that.
Of course we're talking about Gamefreak, so it's a pipe dream.

Preferably an action RPG but a main quest that doesn't flow like diarrhea-ridden ass would be nice. Haven't seen one of those for a few years now.

Dragon quest monsters joker but with pokemon

Skyrim mmo world but pokemon styled

Cute waifus.

Hopefully we’ll get a good TP 3D world. I dont mind random encounters and turn based fights, as long as everything is smooth and fast without any loading screens. This could be achieved by always having your first pokemon following you and the wild pokemon jumping through some grass onto the overworld for a smooth transition.

Also in this overworld they should add a mechanic where you can see rare Pokemon walking around and you can sneak up on them.

Also a big ass region with more optional routes (maybe scaling gym leaders that can be done in any order). This is not gonna happen though, we’ll just see more hand holding and kids story

>retards who think pokémon is defined entirely by its combat system
