Stay with BH until 25. Do not play any berzerk melee classes in this game unless you got all the necessary perks and knows how not to die in a horde.

The ability to pick up the game and jump straight to nightmare & cata with whites if you were good is going to be missed, but this is not a problem when you get your discovered power level up in 2
Also V2 is missing all the content that V1's DLC brought, which again will be a problem that solves itself given enough time. No Last stand even though it's popularity was low. Wheat and Chaff won't be missed

It's a co-op game so it's not really "worth-it"
It wont beat a squad of teammates you know personally
With bots is better than a random pub if you kit them out with the right shit and level them up first. They will replace their tomes with healing items and never pick up grims
Once modding tools come we'll probably get a bunch of nice bot changes similiar to what we got in V1 like them shooting at things & picking stuff up that you tag
Give them ranged weapons they can trash specials quickly with and they'll snipe the fuck out of them better than most pubbies
Off balance is a must have talent with bots, give them an orange shield with it and they'll become real useful

I just the first one since it was cheap and I wanted a game to play with a friend, is the dlc worth it or should I just enjoy the first game for awhile until 2 gets more content and cheaper on sales?

If you have the 'tism and can do them repeatedly short maps like bell are best but QP will tend to feed you better gear and keep your brain from turning to jelly

Anyone know what stats I should be looking for on unchained? I enjoy going allahhu ratbar to keep myself alive. Or should I just stick to pyromancer for killing, and what stats and gear should be used for that?

Foot Knight feels a lot more useful now that they fixed it so the damage resistance aura actually works

Been hearing mixed opinions on Huntsman with the Longbow so I tried it and jesus fucking christ is it amazing
This thing hits so fucking hard, ult still deletes bosses, and the Halberd as a melee weapon actually just feels like the best melee weapon in the game

for defensive stats, anything related to stamina and blocking is good
for offensive, damage vs chaos/skaven/infantry works because those are your priority
no need for attack speed or crit chance

I tried Ironbreaker for the first time today, you're literally invincible and 2h hammer is probably the best melee weapon in the game

waystalker is much better than BH
only thing BH does is switch exploit clear waves of garbage, wow like any class in the game has a hard time with trash enemies

you could try pretty much any other career in the game honestly - all the ones that aren't meta like ranger vet and huntsman at least offer something

Handmaiden is superior to Waystalker on Legend when you get the lvl 25 talent that gives you stealth. Doesnt lose much special killing power but you become fucking invincible.
If you want I can post a video of a true solo player killing an entire chaos patrol with handmaiden without breaking a sweat

He was useful to begin with. The charge tears up hordes and knocks down everything up to bosses, though you do stop going when you hit anything armoured or big. Then there's that lvl25 talent that gives you no-stam blocks for 10s after a charge so you can tank anything you didn't kill with your charge.

That would only make it longer as you can just stealth and headshot them with a longbow. Dont have the video but the same player solokilled Skarrik from 50% hp while kiting the overlapping hordes that spawned.

Depends on what you mean, bots are kinda boring but you can manage some crazy stuff if you are good enough. Pugging can be painful, but I usually have fun

Crit chance is plenty useful on unchained and pyro because of the vent on crit trait.

Vent on crit only works on Pyromancer because of her passive increasing crit chance

Legend of course. I used a frag earlier to soften them up so I didnt have to go for headshots, but you can also use the tripot trinket to torso-oneshot them during the active, and the tripot gives you just enough for another active when the first one ends.
