Literally a 9 mana minion that is 30/30, which is enough to instakill a full hp player

Not enjoying the MTG Arena beta or something?

>chump block with a 1/1
wow so hard..

MTG has a 0 mana 20/20 with flying and indestructable. Git gud.

Dies to removal.
Shadowverse has the exact same card, Deepwood Anomaly, and it is considered absolute shit. You could instead be playing a card that would actually win the game.

Never seen anyone playing it outside some YT clip which was most likely staged

>chump block

Maybe play the game once before commenting.

If you are in a game where you make it to 9 mana, and go three turns unopposed playing 3 slow cards that can be easily removed, you've already won because your opponent isn't playing control.

But you would have lost before then or while skipping your 3 turns if you were playing against aggro anyway.

So it's shit.

I used to play it with quest druid and two faceless manipulators, it got me a decent amount of wins. Once I got Barnabus out I essentially had four bloods in my deck, and I could play two at 0 mana before my opponent even had a chance to respond. Its really funny in combination with the card that gives you armor equal to one of your minion's attack. I think I ended one game with 90 something hp.

>he thinks it takes 3 turns to pull that combo off
Hello, brainlet.

>Barnes out a blood of the ancient one
>Use molten mirror on it
>Get 30/30
Hard

Never got an invite

Damn, you guys could have hit rank 20 two years ago with those amazing strategies!

wtf wizards???

is this me showing her my cock?

nu-MTG sucks.
Both aesthetically and power-creep wise.

Anything but Ben please

You can’t get that out until at least turn 4/5 so it sucks

Which card is that?

HS cards are so fucking ugly.

>it actually costs 30 mana
almost fooled me

He only slightly lied to you. It costs two mana.

Thespian's stage can copy the land, but without any of the counters on it. This instantly gives you the 20/20 token.

HAHAHAHAHA

where is it from?

even if that was a real card it would be unplayable because no hearthstone game goes to turn 9 lmao

ROLLING FOR GLORIOUS KHAZAR MILKERS

Shadowverse art suffers from a severe case of overdesign.

>power-creep wise

but nu-magic is weaker than ever

>weeabo shit...

interesting

You will NEVER enjoy any card game as much as this guy enjoys Eternal. 6 minutes in. That's PURE bliss you are witnessing

Attached: 234.jpg (600x450, 21K)

Why aren't there anything like card games but, you know, good?

Try erotic asphyxiation

I'm not sure how you'd be able to tell other than the moonrunes and the art being weird as fuck.

Tried it, wasn't turn based but it was a lot more fun than Hearthstone.

I should of known better from a TCG. Release a card with the potential for great power but has some limit on it to make it seem balanced. Then forget that in your library of literally thousands of cards that a few would make it stupidly easy summon. Its literally the tale as old as time for nearly every TCG.

Depwood have like 8 of life, not 30.

T. Westcuck.

rollin'

That's how the Modern format of mtg works. Everything is broken so nothing is until something comes along is turbo-broken and then it gets banned

Crazy power levels is the entire appeal of Eternal formats you phillistine.

rollin'

If you played with creatures from today in decks back then, you'd roll over everyone. Seriously, the best creature in old magic was fucking Shivan Dragon

There are plenty of 1 mana answers to it

Well HS might be just the game for you, because every year they dumpster all previous sets except classic and the most recent one.

3 out of 5 colors won't have any problem removing it. Black can force sac it or exile it, white can exile it and blue can bounce it or perma-tap it. The only ones who'll have a problem are green and red.

This. Unsummon kills it dead.

Just wait user, SOON.

>Shivan Dragon
>not Juzám Djinn

Creatures rolled over people back in the day too. With cards like IRONCLAW ORCS. That's how the Sligh deck was invented.

That's not how the rotation works, the whole previous year is still standard. To be clear
>Rotating out: Gadgetzan, Old Gods,
>Still In: Un'goro, Frozen Throne, Kobolds + everything from this year

It costs 30 mana to play and dark depths itself isn't indestructable.

I think one of my favorite things about FNM was showing the newer players just how piddly the effect of "indestructible" could really be.

Attached: 1505588623296.png (915x864, 674K)

Indestructible is one of the strongest keywords a creature can have.

Attached: oiiuEOc.png (569x384, 426K)

Oh well. My point still stands, if you don't want ridiculous combos, go for HS, as your cards from two years ago will be worthless in the standard format.

t. I don't know shit about Magic

If you are playing Dark Depths, you are obviously playing it with counter removal shenanigans.

>one of the strongest keywords
No. That would be hexproof, shroud and cannot be countered.

You arent missing much.
It is a boring chore.

Wizards will just cannibalize it like literally every other digital game they make.
DotP series, Duels, etc

>one of the strongest
>no, these are stronger
>one of the

It's not one of the strongest because it's very easily circumventable. It only protects you from direct damage and destruction. Too bad half the removal now exiles and the other gives -x/-x which indestructable does diddly squat against.

>they make
They are making this inhouse so hopefully it will last a bit longer than Duels.

game's so boring you have to shitpost like this about a 2 year old card to get a thread started

Indestructible is great but I'm talking about the newer players that suddenly realize that Sacrifice, Exile and Bounce effects work just on that dude. Or my absolute favorite moment:

>This kid who plays a Boros Soldier Tribal in Commander at an LGS
>Was bragging about he paid a bunch for some new tech in his tech, refused to tell anyone
>We do a game
>Several turns in he windmill slams it down: Avacyn, Angel of Hope
>He's grinning ear to ear as his entire squad of dudes is indestructible now
>I play Nicol Bolas and steal her

Attached: stare.png (381x543, 150K)

Vampire Hexmage, fyi

Work just FINE on THEIR dude** Fuck me and I even forgot about -X/-X effects, too.

>-X/-X effects
I remember one game in Duels where I took down Ulamog with that

Toxic deluge is my MVP for indestructible

>mtg closed beta
>servers so shit that their emails take 10 days to reach you

>Dude removal, LMAO

No shit Sherlock. But the argument of LOL JUST REMOVE IT always irked me because its used to justify stupid levels of bullshittery. When does the line get crossed? If you can combo into stupidly powered beat sticks for a handful of mana when why not just release three mana permanent with 20/20 and just justify it with he fact removal exists?

Attached: 1518452808518.jpg (560x683, 77K)

Literally got a invite on 1/30 and just saw it now.

Dude just dodge it lmao.

Because the card by ITSELF isn't very good if you're trying to remove the counters manually. It's only by using other cards in a combination that lets you bypass certain factors of the card. In another instance I once got attacked by this card and took 15 damage and still won the game.

Attached: Emrakul.jpg (474x652, 89K)

Also just to add further on I didn't even kill said creature to win the game either.

The problem with trying to jam down Marit Lage super early is that you have to go down a significant amount of cards to pull it off, and it's easily undone by one card.

It can be an annoying thing to see endlessly but it's a part of the meta of the game: especially Modern and even more so in Legacy. Creatures need to be incredibly cheap (Delver of Secrets potentially being a 3/2 flyer that can swing on turn 2, for example) or provide immediate value (Haste or ETB effects) because otherwise it'll just get sniped by a removal spell that often costs less, putting you at a disadvantage.
